Lance Oneshots, AU's, Angst

Prince

Lance AU where he is the Altean Prince and stuff. Think I might add Galra Keith in this too...

Prince Lance POV~

"Prince Lance! Watch out!" I ducked to the right, avoiding one of the Galra robots attack. I stabbed him with my sword, then moved on to help father.(Alfor)

"My boy it is too dangerous go back to the castle and-" he was cut off by a Galra robot shooting it's laser at him. I ran up to the robot, slicing it in half.

"I'm fine, see?" I said, acting confident.

"Look out!" Father yelled as I felt a burning sensation in my back. I fell to the ground, and then I was knocked out by another hit.

I was somewhat awake, but my eyelids felt heavy. I kept them closed, as I listened to a conversation somewhere in the room.

"It's too dangerous for Lance to be fighting on his own like this. I want you two to be his bodyguards alright? I trust you very much Shiro." I've heard that name before. He is a Galra general, but he doesn't work for Zarkon. He sided with us, along with a lot of others too.

"We will protect your son sir. You have my word." Shiro responded. He had a deep voice, almost mesmerizing. Another voice spoke, this time different.

"I will stay by his side and protect him. Do not worry Sir," Now that voice. It was deep, but it also had lightness to it. I could listen to that guy talk forever. I groaned, finally sitting up. My hand flew to my head, as a headache started to rise.

"Ah my son, you are awake," father exclaimed, walking over to me. We were in my room for some reason. I must have passed out when I came out of the healing pod. I blinked a couple times, looking around. Father was sitting on the edge of the bed, while two other people stood at the other wall. One was taller than the other. The tallest one, most likely Shiro, had a white tuft of hair in the front. The rest was all short and black. There was purple ears that stuck out of the side of his head. His skin was a light purple, and I didn't see much fur anywhere.

The smaller one, whose name I do not know, had black somewhat messy hair. And-gasp- he has a mullet. He had violet almost grey eyes, but then they turned completely yellow. Purple ears stuck out of his head like Shiro,and he was also purple. I could see a bit of small fur on his face and neck, but not really anywhere else since his armor was like a turtleneck. Father noticed me looking at them, and introduced them to me.

"Oh um Lance this is Shiro and Keith. They will be your bodyguards from now on." I didn't like the idea of a bodyguard, never mind two. It made me feel weak, but it's not like I would ever tell someone that. I nodded in acknowledgment.

"Alrighty," I said simply.

"They will be by your side 24/7 because we do not know when we could be attacked. And from what I have heard there has been a series of break in's, and people are being kidnapped in the castle."

"Is Allura alright?" I asked. I really hope she was ok. Father looked away.

"Allura...was one of the people that were kidnapped. We are trying to find her and the others as we speak. I don't want you to be kidnapped as well," My head dropped. I hope she is gonna be ok. A sudden feeling of sadness washed over me. Father must have noticed, because he silently walked out of the room, leaving a part on the shoulder to Keith and Shiro. The door closes behind him, and then there is just silence.

Keith POV~

King Alfor walked out, and Prince Lance just sat on his bed, his head in his hands. I look at Shiro through a side glance. He was looking right at Prince Lance. I looked back to him too, and noticed how he had sat up and was now looking at us. He was quite pretty. He had light blue royal Altean hair, like Allura and King Alfor. He had beautiful blue eyes that shone like this planets water.He had blue altean marks underneath his eyes as well.

"So uh hi," he said, attempting to make conversation. I made no sound, and Shiro did not say anything either.

"So what exactly are you guys supposed to do?" He asked. His voice was beautiful and majestic.

"Protect you," Both Shiro and I said at the same time. Prince Lance looked quite shook at our words.

Prince Lance POV~

I'M SHOOK.

They answered at the exact same time! Creepy much?

"Are you guys like brothers or something?" I asked, trying to get some info out of them. They both nodded.

"Hm. I guess I always wanted a brother. I mean Allura's pretty cool and stuff, but still." As I spoke her name, sadness washed over me once more. I dropped my head into my hand's again.

"I can't believe she was taken..." I whisper to myself. I slowly shake my head.

"You should get some sleep." Shiro instructed. I nodded, laying down back in my bed. I looked out my window at the sunset. My big windows were wide open, like they always are. I realized something. These people are total strangers.

"Wait!" I call just as they were about to walk out the door. They turn, looking right into my eyes.

"Um, I want to learn more about you guys..." I say, embarrassment showing on my face. They look at each other and then walk over and sit by my bed.

"What do you want to know?"
