It became painfully obvious what had occurred the witch healed him. Such a thing had never occurred before for someone on the brink of death to be brought back so easily. In truth, their knowledge of witchcraft has always been narrowed and obviously lacking somewhat in detail.

This had stemmed from the centuries of purging the witches and inaccurate or opinionated documentations of their kind.

The more recent generations were told how malevolent and wicked their powers were ranging from abilities such as curses, poisons or something even as powerful as manipulating the different elements, or simply being able to wish, someone's death simply coming into contact with them.

Their incomprehensibleness is what made such powers so terrifying to many, therefore it was an absolute justification to get rid of such dangerous beings altogether.

But how did such a heinous force have such a beautiful outcome? While it was such an amazing feat such an act wasn't enough to dispel doubt and weariness amongst the subjects in the room.

Although impressive feat for many of the people in the Royal Hall, it wasn't moving or compelling enough for them to speak against the Witches scheduled departure.

Even more so the forgotten Emperor was even further less impressed than the latter.

'He was ignored and for what? The Emperor thought the Witch would pull some extraordinary trick. Using that pathetic pebble's lifeless body as a catalyst to conjure up something more fun, but it was glaringly apparent that was not the case'.

After the clamouring died down the emperor paid the knight attention making it clear he was being pressed to talk. The nervous knight did so, bowing his head so his eyes didn't accidentally meet the emperors terrifying ones.

"W..when we visited" the knight stammered clumsily over his words.

Ares made no clear expression change, so it was clear the knight was to continue to speak. "When we visited the village" he repeated correcting himself. "The captain made extra preparations to capture the Witch if he were to flee. But the witch didn't even attempt to resist upon sight, despite the Witch's delicate appearance we still followed through with caution retraining him accordingly. Most of us found this to be strange it was almost too easy of a mission."

The Emperor contemplated the matter from the knight's explanation, he agreed the apprehension did sound odd. Either the witch got caught on purpose, which seemed very unlikely or there was an even bigger scheme afoot.

"Also, we found out the witch to be a man. We never heard of such a thing a male Witch, therefore we began to doubt that he was even a Witch. Under questioning, he without even trying to conceal it acknowledged it without hesitation." Actually, there was more detail to that story, but the knight skimmed over it in fear of being too inappropriate in the emperor's presence.

"Furthermore" he continued, "one of our men had a badly injured leg from the last excursion before visiting the village. And somehow the witch managed to free himself and instead of escaping he performed the same weird trick. And he was able to walk properly again".

The emperor waived his hand dismissively signalling the knight to stop speaking, as he spoke more than enough. The knight did shut up and retreated to the side. The witches matter seemed more complicated than he initially thought.

The witch relaxed his palms, it was done, the person was fully healed. The person on the floor began to wearily open his eyes only able to glimpse at the figure's long black hair before falling unconscious again.

At this point, the Witch already stood up using the back of his hand to rubs his eyes. He yawned his appearance looking very unrefined as he didn't even no attempt at trying to stifle it. The fact that many people's eyes were on him at this moment of time was something he remained oblivious to.

He looked around the magnificent hall and found a spot he took a liking to. He laid down on the area got comfortable and fell asleep just like that.

No one knew what face to pull after that. Their attention shifted to the Emperor's direction, actually, they could feel the anger being desperately kept in, but it inevitably boiled over. Enough for them at least to feel.

The witch dared to cause him such humiliation, ignoring him in front of his subjects and even reviving someone he'd practically just sentenced to death. 'Such insolence!' he'd had enough, he lost interest.

"Knights put an end to this impudent worm's life. I want to see its head roll" The Emperor ordered.

All the knights in the room flinched, he was serious. They gave each other a hardening look they all approached the witch. Truthfully none of them wanted to carry out this cruel task, after all, he helped one of their friend; an undisputable fact.

The Emperor glanced over at the sight with a calm look of disinterest and just a small trace of disappointment.

When the witch could've easily taken that chance to flee. Such an honourable thing to have done certainly gained the witch respect from some of them. But they convinced themselves they had no choice. Soon hardening himself mentally one of the more muscular knights took the initiative he stepped forward standing right above the sleeping boy. He raised his weapon upwards in an angle sure to end the witch in one full swoop.

Using the velocity from the weight he swiftly swung downwards in a swift and mercilessly.
