“Aw, so this is the girl little Nialler was going to meet at the food court!” Harry Styles laughs as he walks up behind Niall. “I told you I would find you lad!” Harry claps a hand on Niall’s shoulder, making Niall look like the most embarrassed person at the table. His face had turned bright red and he sank back into the chair he so recently left.

“Haha, hey Harry, what’re ya doing here?” Niall asked awkwardly as Harry pulls up the chair across from me, Niall refusing to look at either of us.

I, on the other hand, was freaking out so much in my head as the two hottest members of One Direction sat at a table with me. However, Harry hadn’t really said anything to me until he saw the bag of tacos in the middle of the table.

“Oh hey, tacos! My favorite! May I?” Harry asks, pausing to ask me before he dug in. It was common knowledge that Harry Styles’ favorite food was tacos, and I mentally congratulated myself on picking them to eat for dinner.

“Of course, go ahead,” I mumbled as I moved my mug of tea so he could grab the bag without having to reach over it.

“Oh, you like tea too, eh? Oh, and not any type of tea; Irish tea!” Harry exclaimed, examining the label on the end of the bag string. “‘Twining’s Irish Breakfast Tea’,” He read out loud. “Watchya think Niall?” Harry asked, calling Niall out once again.

Niall glanced up from me to Harry. “Well… I like tea too,” Niall stated plainly. “Now Harry please go away before I make ya.”

Harry just laughed at this and pulled out an android phone with a familiar green casing around it. “Look at the phone some fan left on our table a while ago. I picked it up and look at the screen saver – a cat rubbing around someone’s leg. And look at the foot, it has a green shamrock tattooed to it; I wonder if it’s the girl’s foot…” He says as he examines the phone. “I wonder what the password is; wish I could see more of her pictures.”

“It is, and you could just ask,” I told Harry nonchalently as I took a sip of my tea while watching him try to figure out my password. He glances up in surprise when I say this and his cheeks flush as he hands back my phone. It’s about time he’s the embarrassed one at the table.

“So you’re the crazy fan that left her phone on the table? You don’t seem crazy,” He laughed as I unlocked my phone. “So what’s your name? I apologize for not asking it before.”

I laughed too as I said, “No, I didn’t leave it on purpose; I guess Brooke left it on the table by accident. And it’s Ava.”

A look of realization crossed Brooke’s face as she finally remembered where she put my phone. She giggled, “Sorry Sis!”

Niall looked over at me and asked me if I really had a shamrock tattooed to my foot. “Yeah, it makes me feel lucky; I used to find a lot of them when I was little at my dad’s house, so it also reminds me of him.”

“Oh, that’s really nice,” Niall responded when I told him this.

“Would you like to see it?” I said as I reached down and slid my flip – flop off of my foot. I lifted my foot up and wiggled it in front of Harry and Niall, showing off the green four leafed clover tattooed to my left foot.

They both laugh and Niall reaches for my foot to get a closer look at it. As he held my foot I glanced down at Liam who was throwing pieces of shredded lettuce from my taco onto the floor.

“Oh Liam, don’t do that!” I scolded as I moved the taco out of the baby’s reach.

“Don’t do what?” A new voice asked. Niall immediately dropped my foot as Liam walked up behind Niall. Yet another member of One Direction here and I finally had my phone back; maybe I could get that picture after all. The caption – “Oh, ya know, just sitting here eating tacos with my favorite band!”

However, I didn’t have time to answer that because baby Liam started flat out screaming when I took the taco away from him. “Shhh baby; ‘If I’m louder, would you see me; would you lay down, in my arms and rescue me…?’” I started crooning as I bounced the fussy child on my lap. I looked up to find all three boys staring at me in awe. “What?” I asked blushing, embarrassed that I probably sounded horrible.

“That was great!” Liam exclaimed as he and Harry both gaped at me. Niall, already hearing my voice, smiled brightly as he glanced between me and the boys.

“It is lovely, isn’t it?” He asked in that Irish voice I’ve loved since I was sixteen.

“It was mesmerizing,” yet another new British voice said behind me. “It was getting lonely by meself, have any of you seen Zayn?  We ditched security and I’ve seemed to ‘ve lost him…” Louis Tomlinson said as he glanced around the food court, also hidden under a low hat and dark sunglasses; just like the rest of the guys. “And I presume you’re the lovely singer Niall’s already bragged about? What’s your name?” He asked, making full eye contact with me.

“Ava….” I answer as I start to shake.

This was too much. I was meeting most of One Direction for the second time today and actually having conversations with them! I couldn’t believe it. Apparently Niall had already bragged about me (a fan he met for two minutes!) to his band mates, and they all think my voice is amazing. I could handle talking to two of them, but four of them at once – was too much for me to comprehend. I couldn’t do this, I had to get some air; the air was getting too hot and I couldn’t breath.

I shakily stood up from my chair and placed Liam in his stroller. He protested, but I couldn’t hear his crying; I couldn’t hear anything. Niall asked me a question and all the boys looked at me, I saw them with a black ring closing in around me. “I just haaaa…” I slurred out right before I fainted in front of my idols.
