Santana Lopez had hated working at the diner, she hated the way the waiters just all suddenly broke out singing, she hated people who came here to see Rachel Berry.

"She's gone!" Santana would sometimes say. "She's filming her new TV show." But at least she got a good pay.

Blaine moved in, which was a bit of a worry- who knows what she was going to hear from him and Kurt. She missed Brittany, she really did, but she's got a heap of career opportunities ahead of her, dancing for Mercedes on tour. Besides, they weren't even officially back together yet.

Santana sighed. She needed to get herself a place. She had the money now, with all the Yeast-I-Stat commercials and the extra long hours spent at the diner. Plus, Mercedes' record company even gave her a few hundred dollars of cash in advance to their duet.

So the search began.

There were flats for sale everywhere, Santana had found one she really liked, but it was slightly over her budget, so she moved on to the next, which completely under budget but looked like a lion's den. Flat after flat, she had finally found the perfect one.

"I'll take it," She said.

The real estate agent nodded. "Very nice choice, Miss. Lopez, you can start moving your things in from tomorrow."

Moving things were a pain, but shopping for furniture was even more of a pain. Red sofa or yellow sofa? Which one matches with which? Would that lamp look fine and fit in that corner? Santana flops down on one of the sofas at a furniture store.

"Jesus." She sighed and closed her eyes. "Maybe I should have asked Lady Hummel to come with me." She muttered. She looked around. Nothing. Santana stood up and walked out of the shop. She needed some coffee, and she also needed to do some shopping while she was here. The place was packed with people, mothers, teenagers, couples, all finding their way around effortlessly.

Santana almost got a headache. Why is there so many people?! She had screamed in her head. Finally she found a fairly decent sofa, and a round egg chair thing. The lady at the store had said it would arrive tomorrow morning.

So she went to back her new flat. It was impressive, to be honest, it looked like the one she shared with Berry and Lady Hummel, but about a little more than half the size and all the personal space she needed. It even looked better. But the only things she had in it were her clothes and belongings, a mattress, a desk and chair and a mat on the floor. At least there was a already installed fireplace. It looked pretty cool.

"Screw it," She said as she went into the bathroom to take a shower. "I'm going to bed straight after this." That night wasn't particularly bad, at least it was better with no noise coming from anywhere except outside the window, which had a very nice view actually.

The next morning her furniture arrived, and she set out to buy more furniture. She still needed a small table for eating, a coffee table, a set of drawers and others which she will figure out she needs when she sees them.

A few weeks past, her small flat seemed perfect, and Kurt, Rachel and Blaine seemed perfectly happy that she had moved out. Santana didn't blame them. She needed her own space, and maybe some friends around the neighbourhood. So the search began, again.

Hey guys,

I hope you like this chapter? I'm so sorry this chapter is a bit shorter than the last one, but I was really stuck on what to write, I mean it'll be kind of boring if I wrote 50 pages about Santana moving her stuff into a new flat. Don't worry, Santana and Sebastian will meet pretty soon, I'm thinking the next chapter or the one after- BUT I won't make it any later than that, because that's too long to wait. Please vote if you liked this chapter! And have a good... life?¿
