That day, was just the beginning.

Oh boy.

Fun.

Great.

Wonderful.

Percy, had just gotten worse. His grades slipped from D's to F's. Not good. And he had dark bags under his eyes, probably from dreams, and he had gotten a lot crankier and in more fights than usual.

He wasn't the only person with an attitude, Zeus, the "god" of pinstripe suits, decided to be a hormonal teenager too. All these giant storms have hit Earth coincidentally near Yancy Academy.

Hormones at it's finest.

Then, Percy snapped. Mr. Nicoll asked Percy for the thousandth time why he was "too lazy to study for spelling test," he called him an old sot, which Athena knows what that means, and he apparently thought it sounded good.

So good to get him expelled.

6 schools, in 6 years. Not too bad.

Percy told me "I hate it here, I just want to go home. Even if I have to deal with ugly Gabe, I want to go home." but im sure there would be things he will miss.

I was reading my book (A Series of Unfortunate Event: Austere Academy) in Chiron's office, when Grover walked in. I looked up, he was pale and frightened. Chiron said,

"Ah, Mr. Underwood! What brings you here?"

"You do know what today's date is, right? Since its near the Summer Solstice, I'm worried about Percy, sir."

I felt someone's presence, I think it was Percy, but I wasn't sure, he doesn't really eavesdrop. But I tuned back into the conversation,  "...alone this summer," Grover was saying. "I mean, a Kindly One in the school! Now that we know for sure, and they know too-"

"We would only make matters worse by rushing him," Chiron said. "We need the boy to mature more."

"But he may not have time. The summer solstice deadline- "

"Will have to be resolved without him, Grover. Let him enjoy his ignorance while he still can."

"Sir, he saw her... ."

"His imagination," Mr. Brunner insisted. "The Mist over the students and staff will be enough to

convince him of that."

"Sir, I ... I can't fail in my duties again."Grover's voice was choked with emotion.

What does he mean? "Fail in my duties again"? Does this relate to Thalia?

"You know what that would mean." Grover continued

"You haven't failed, Grover," Mr. Brunner said kindly. "I should have seen her for what she was. Now let's just worry about keeping Percy alive until next fall-"

A loud thud alerted us.

Chiron turned into Chiron, a beautiful stallion....with Mr. Brunner as the body. He slung his quiver over his shoulder and armed himself with his bow. As we looked in the hallway Mr. Brunner spoke.

"Nothing," he murmured. "My nerves haven't been right since the winter solstice."

Yeah, the winter solstice. Fun fun. Death everywhere. Fun.

"Mine neither," Grover said. "But I could have sworn ..."

"Go back to the dorm," Mr. Brunner told him. "You've got a long day of exams tomorrow."

"Don't remind me."

He turned around,"You too Cassandra."

I gave a glare.

"Annabeth would not approve"

"Oh shut up old man."

He just chuckled in response.

As I went to bed I heard a voice.

It was like many voices at once.

It was painful.

It was moving.

It was scary.

"Hello my child. This is only the beginning."

The mark on my hand, basically a circle with a line going across and a line going up and down, started burning. I hissed and clasped my hand. As soon as my head hit the pillow of my bed. I went into a night of terrors.
