We came out of the portal outside a sort of lab. "River, can you help me protect my friend from inside this virtual town?" Riku asked me. I nodded and said "Yeah. Being a ninja princess raised in the hellhole that is Konohaguire gives me the advantage of knowing how to fight." Riku looked at me sad and said "Thanks. We'll give you a house in there. Any suggestions for your room?" I said "You were watching me for some time so you know what I like." Riku shrugged and said "Alright. C'mon." He did something and suddenly looked different and pulled up his hood. We walked into the lab and Riku said "River wishes to help." I waved and said "River Namikaze Song at your service." The man said "How will a child help us?" My eyebrow twitched at being called a child and said "Listen old man, I can probably detect a bunch of different poisons. And I'm 13 and a ninja." The old man laughed and said "She'll be a great help." I grinned and Riku directed me to the platform where they put me into the town. I ended up in a spacious fangirl esque bedroom. I smiled and said "Thanks Ri-Kun." I immediately pulled out a white crop jacket, a black tank top, a lilac off-shoulder top, a black knee length skirt, orange ans black platform converse, and white socks. I changed into the outfit once I bathed. I held my overly long blonde hair back with fuzzy black cat ears attached to a head band. I grabbed the teal popsicle backpack next to the door and went out. I wandered around and suddenly saw a tall blonde boy with a scar diagonal on his face. With him were what I thought were two boys and a girl. "Hey! Who're you? You new here?" I stopped, terrified. "M-m-me?" I asked. "Yeah you!" I straightened up and said "River Song. And you are?" The boy said "I'm Seifer, he's Rai, she's Fuu, and the small one is Vivi. We're the disiplinary comittee." My eyes widened. In Konoha, the disiplinary committee were a bunch of bullies. I turned and ran in the opposite direction. I ran into a back alley. I turned and saw three boys and a girl in there. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to intrude but, there are four people chasing me." I said, slightly red and breathless. The one in black and white said "Was it a boy with a black beanie and a white sleeveless trench coat?" I nodded. "Seifer's scarin' kids now?" The other blonde boy asked. I irritably said "I'm thirteen. You can't be more than fourteen." The other two boys and the girl laughed and the girl said "Hayner's a year older than you." I smirked and said "I was right. My name's River Song. You are?" The girl said "Hayner, Pence, Olette, and Roxas. I'm Olette." I glanced at Roxas and blushed. Hayner got up and said "Nice to meet you, but I'm busy. Catch you later." I jerked to the side at his rather mean way of dismissing me. I let my head drop and said "I shoulda never left the house." I ran back to my house, upset. I didn't hear the other three get mad at Hayner. I slid down the wall and sniffled. "Why did I agree to this?" I mumbled. I heard knocking at my door. I got up slowly and opened the door. "We're sorry about Hayner. He's like that with others." Roxas said. I shrugged and said "I know. I kind of expected it. I was not well liked back in my hometown. I just didn't expect it to someone who looked like he'd be a kind and sweet person." Roxas, Olette, and Pence said "We'll be your friends." I gave them a very watery smile and said "Thanks." I said "Come inside. I barely know anything about you and you barely know a thing about me."
