In Trice a man of fourteen runs through the streets. He must find his next prey to rob to provide for his family. The man's name is Henry Schwarz.

(Henry's perspective)

Alright, I see a man who is a possible. He's a merchant. I sneak up on him and jump on his back to take him down. He falls, and I grab his stuff then run for the alleys. I need to get back to store this. I run through alleys and across the short bridge over the canal that runs through town. I can see my hideout from there. As I'm running, I hit a guard. I fall and let go of a little bit of stuff I was carrying. The guard recognized me. He draws his sword to fight. I draw mine, and we fight. He took one poke at my side, and he hits me. I slash his head and in one blow he falls, dead. He wasn't that well trained. He didn't even have a helmet. I run back with the things I stole. I hear guards chasing me, and then I feel blood dripping down my side. MY blood is dripping down my side. I run and throw the things I stole in my sewer hiding spot. I run as fast as I can back to my home. I see it, and I run inside the duplex and up the stairs. Holding my wound with my left arm, I close the door behind me. I see my mother as she gasps. I stand staring her in the eyes. What have I done? I realized my mistake.

"Momma, I-I am a-a killer. I saw a sold-ier and I killed him. I sliced his head with my sword, and he fell dead. Momma, I'm gonna throw this all away and face my regret."

She hugs me with tears. I know my time as come, and I must stay strong. I go into the living room as I hear shouts outside. My mother looks at my wounds. She patches me up quickly. I see my two sisters and my brother.

"Goodbye, everyone I have to go. I'll be back before morning's light. I promise."

My twin sister started to cry. She knew what I did. She hugged me. I turned my back and grabbed my sword. I see my mother looking out the window.

"Momma, if I'm not back here when the rooster crows. Please, don't go looking for me, and mama, I don't want to die. I wish I was never born."

I said that with no regret as I hug her one last time and walk down my stairs. I slid open the door just a bit. I see soldiers about ten feet away. I breath heavily.

"Come out, right now with your hands in the air!"

I heard a soldier shout that with a deep eastern accent. I-I can't. This can't happen to me. I ponder and ponder so much of my life. Here I am again on my own.

"Please, don't hurt him he's just a poor boy!" My mom shouted. I loved my ma too much. Why did I say that to her? I asked my self that with such regret. Anywhere the wind blows I go. I grab my crossbow and short sword. The crossbow is ready. Now, I can maybe kill four possibly six.

"Will you let me go?" I shouted.

"Never! Come out now." A soldier yelled. What do I do? I did what I had to do for the better or for the worse.

Alright, so yeah this is my shortest chapter so far. I just really wanted to put up a chapter like this, and I hope you enjoy it.
