(Henry Schwarz's perspective)

I sit in my cell. I didn't die at least. It's been three days since I killed that man. I spend most of my days sleeping on a cot. My trial was set and I am in jail for twenty years. They let me off easy because I was only a kid. I sit in my cell playing with chalk. Marking the days. Each mark is five days. Twenty five days in a month. I'd be in here for quite a long time. The prison isn't that bad. However, I know once I'm grown. I'll be moved prisons. I sit in my cell to hear the morning bell. Breakfast. I get up and walk out of my cell. I pass girls and boys just waking up. I get to the eating hall. I grab a cheap metal tray and get some fresh eggs and biscuits. I sit down and eat. The food is quite shitty. I grabbed a bottle of cow milk before I sat down. I sit there eating my eggs. I finish my breakfast and I leave the banquet hall. The stone walls make this place so lonely. I walk pass two girls I met. One is named Fiona and the other is Jessie. They rule this prison. One has twenty scars. She is bold, and she is ripped The other has beautiful blond hair. She is pretty cute herself. I have no intentions anyways. I walk around my cell block. I sit down at a table. I hate this place more than anything. I need to escape. I look out the window of my cell. I can only slightly see the sunrise. I walk to the window, and it is just big enough for me to slip my fingers through. I can use this. I reach my hands as far as I can. I am just barely able to grab grass. I take it and I wish my self good luck. I eat the grass. It did not taste good at all. I walk out off my cell. I sit in the banquet room. I sit in wait. I feel an urge in my stomach. I get up and walk pass a guard. I throw up right next to him. The guard looks perplexed. He grabs me and races me to the nurse's office.

"What are you in here for?" The nurse asked.

"I killed a man." I replied looking down.

"No, I mean why are you in my office." The nurse asks again.

"Oh, I threw up." I replied once more looking down. I suddenly get the urge again. She sees I need to throw up again. She hands me a bucket, and I throw up in it. She takes the bucket and studies it for a second.

"Where did you throw up?" She asks.

"The banquet hall." I replied.

"Damn food. You might have a stomach bug. I'd say stay here. Sleep inside that room for tonight. Lunch and dinner will be delivered." She says. I go in my new cell. I sit down on the nicely padded cot. I got nice pillows and blankets now. I sit back and relax. I thought to myself if I'm going to escape. I need to use this opportunity.

Its nighttime now. A guard is stationed outside the infirmary, not inside. I get up and walk to my window. This window is slightly bigger. I smell the fresh air coming in. It carries me away from this prison in gladness and hopefulness. I must figure away out of here. The infirmary was a bust which means I'll have to somehow start a riot, with kids. This is going to suck. I either get into the adult jail or I rot. I run my hands around the window. I touch something metallic. It try and yank on it. It doesn't budge. I walk around my room checking under my bed and around the toilet. I go to the jail cell door. I try and open it. It won't budge either. The moonlight only lights the room enough to where I can see outside into the lightly lit room of the infirmary. I see syringes, medical knives, and even rum. I need to get one of those medical knives.

I fall asleep again. It was only an hour later, the large bells rang for breakfast. I get up and knock on the door. I get let out by the nurse.

"Are you good today?" She asked.

"Yes, I am very well at the moment." I replied. I walk pass the table with syringes and knives. I turn around to say something as I swipe a knife. I slide it into my pocket. "I hope you have a wonderful day."

I walk out of there. I need to deposit this knife somewhere. I walk back to my cell. I look out my window, and I take my knife. I slide in between the window. I carefully place it on the ground right outside. The handle sticks up just enough, so I can reach for it. I smile widely. I finally did it. First part of my escape plan is fully done with. I know they searched my cell. I could tell by the neatly made clean sheets. That means they checked my entire cell. I must be careful from now on.
