A/N: I am extremely sorry for the late update. But after I posted chapter eight, I took a two/three weeks long break from writing - from my computer in general, actually. I don't know why, but I just did. And then, after those two/three weeks, I went on a vacation for two weeks. I did write on this chapter via my phone, though, while I was away, so I didn't not write at all.

I hope this chapter makes up for the long wait!! Happy reading x

"How has it already been nearly a month?", I ask Niall as we walk around on the stage in the Amsterdam Arena, hand in hand.

"I don't know.", he replies, smiling. "But I do know one thing - time flies when you're having fun."

"I guess it does.", I chuckle, and look out at the bleachers (A/N: is that what you call it? lmao) and the floor sections. "Isn't it scary to be on this stage and look out at huge arenas like this one?"

"Kind of.", Niall shrugs. "I still get nervous before shows, of course.. I guess I'm just a bit more used to it now?"

"You make it sound like a question.", I stop walking and look up at him.

"I don't wanna sound like a diva.", he admits. "The last thing I am is ungrateful, this means everything to me."

I smile, step closer to him and rest my arms around his neck. "Anyone who knows who you are, knows that you're not ungrateful. And I mean, it's not weird that you're used to it. You've been on three tours three years in a row, of course you're used to it by now."

"I suppose.", he says, locking his fingers together on my lower back. "But like I said, I still get nervous before shows. And even though this stage compared to the one last year is huge, it still seems as if it's small when the arenas are filled."

We walk along the catwalk, and even though I've been at almost every concert so far during this month, I'm still amazed every time by how big the scene is. The main stage is huge, the catwalk is huge and even the end of the catwalk is huge.

It's been fun to watch all of the fans reactions to different things they've done on stage, and at some points I've found myself fangirling as well. But I'm still a major fan of theirs, so it's not weird that I still fangirl. I mean, even though I'm actually Niall's fiancee, nothing's changed from that perspective.

"Hey, Niall!", one of the guards call.

"Yeah?", Niall asks, turning to look at the guard.

"We're going to have to start letting the fans in now, the opening act is supposed to be on in an hour.", the guard states.

"Oh, right, of course.", Niall nods and then tugs at my hand. "Come on."

"Why?", I tease, smiling playfully. "Wouldn't it be fun if we just continued to walk around up here and pretend like there's no one here?"

"Kayla.", Niall says, seriously.

"What?", I chuckle. "I'm just saying!"

"I'm serious, we have to go.", he continues.

"I'm serious, too.", I wink at him, untangle my fingers from him and jog down to the end of the catwalk.

Niall immediately rushes after me, but freezes as he hears that the gates open up. He gives me a meaningful look, but I just raise my eyebrows as if I have no idea what he means. Which, in its turn, causes him to roll his eyes and jog up to me.
