If there is anyone I missed that you think I should add that's important, just comment!

*And apparently, this story is now rated R.*

After the two policemen, Nathaniel and Isaac, has the information they need to find and catch Ryan, Niall is very keen that we should get home as fast as possible. What happened is a very sensitive subject, of course, and it upsets him like crazy.

And I don't know if there's anything I absolutely hate more than seeing him upset. It literally kills me inside.

"Come on.", I softly say as I come out from the bathroom in my own clothes.

Niall stands up with a very exhausted look plastered on his face, and I try to comfort him with a smile as I reach my hand out for his. He reaches his hand towards mine, too, and I gently wrap my fingers around his.

We walk outside the hospital, and Niall's black Range Rover is parked really close to the entrance, and with the beauty of that car it's not hard to miss. Niall removes his hand from mine and fetches his car keys from his pocket, so I walk around to the passenger seat.

Even though I've lived here for a few months, I'm still not completely used to the opposite way of driving. You could think I am, but nope.

Niall's face still looks exhausted, and still slightly flushed with pain, so I instenctively reach my hand out for his across the gear box and gently run my fingers down his arm, from his bicep and down to his wrist.

He takes a deep breath before he presses the key into the ignition, and the engine starts with an instant roar. My eyes move from his arm up to his face, and I immediately see his clenched jaw and the incredibly focused gaze on the road.

"I'm fine, baby.", I coo. "Relax."

"I can't.", he shakes his head. "Wasn't that Ryan guy your friend?"

"I thought so, too.", I agree. "I haven't spoken to him for a week or two, though - I've only spotted him around town hanging with some suspicious looking guys."

"He's lucky I'm not going to be here in London for the next few months.", Niall growls under his breath.

"He didn't even do anything, though.", I mumble.

"Exactly!", he exclaims. "He didn't do anything. He just watched."

"He was the one who stopped things before that man could actually do anything worse!", I retort, but immediately regret it when my mind screams why on Earth am I defending him?!
