Layla's pov
_____________

An daura(the knot has been tied)!!" My aunt chanted clapping her hands excitedly. I couldn't help but feel a rush of happiness and nervousness. Being married was a big deal for me, it takes dedication, trust, and so much luck.

"Matan Aliyu" her friend Samira teased, her aunt held her nose and flicked her tongue making the ruda sound.

"It's Ali" layla corected, "Matan Ali" she added grinning.

"To Allah ya ba da zaman lafiya(may God bless the marriage for it to  be a peaceful one)" hafsa another one of her bridesmaid prayed.

"Ameen" layla said closing her eyes for the makeup artist to apply the eye shadow.

***few hours earlier***

"Ina yatafi?(where did he go)"said Al'Amin, pacing back and forth out of frustration.

"Sir, we are trying our best to track him down." Patrick said trying to calm his boss down, because he knows some people might lose their job, if his boss loses it.

"Well do better, we don't have much time." Al'Amin racking his brain on where his now considered stupid son is, as Asaad walked in.

"Found him yet?" Asaad asked placing his hand on his hips, looking at the big screen.

"Not yet,but we will...hopefully" Lucifer said still trying as hard as he can, to hack into a camera he thinks might have spotted Ali.

"Ali!....."Hanif exclaimed, but paused when he realised he was talking to the twin."Asaad, how's is it looking so far?" Hanif asked.Al'amin, couldn't help but overhear Hanif.

"Not good, the camera tracking thing isn't working, we need to work fast, because we...Ali needs to leave for Manchester in the next few days, and that of course is when he comes back." Asaad said calmly, even though pigeons were flying all around his insides, because there is no possible way to tell a bride her groom ran away.

"Asaad!" Al'amin called.

"Yes, what do you need?" He asked.

"This may sound crazy but.... I think you should marry her, I mean I can't tell her uncle what happened, we'll lose the partnership. And we clearly can not take that risk. "Al'amin said sternly."but think about it first." his father suggested.

"Think about marrying another man's wife?it's crazy?!! What! I can't do that...I...look, I can't, sorry."Asaad said, going into marriage was not what he was planning any time soon.

He is finally involving himself in family matters and trying to solve some, but this solution was too demanding for him. So he left, regretting ever answering his dads call to come over the first place.

He sat in his car, his fathers words not sinking in at all, when he heard the door open.

"Dad, I'm not in the right state of -" Asaad started but was cut off.

"Asaad,I know you're not in good terms with Ali, and I know how hard you're trying to be close as you can to the family, and me and your mother, appreciate that, but please this one more favour and that's it...no more favours" Al'amin said, very solid with his offer.

"Look you're my father, you can't not ask for my favour but-" said Asaad but his dad cut him off again.

"I know it's hard but please...."

"Okay, I'll consider it but can I have more time?" Asaad said still unsure whether to take the task

"Yes, of course....you have one hour thirty minutes"Al'amin said, not waiting for Asaad to object he went out of the car, and quickly closed the door.

**three hours later**

"okay." Asaad sighed. "I agree." he said not sure of his decisions but he needed to at least try to forgive his dad, so he started by doing something spontaneous.

"wait..you agree?" he asked shocked by Asaad's statement.

"yes." Asaad answered now more sure than he was before. He might have met her three times and she seemed like a nice person and good person but.....the questioning feeling was still there.
