UNEDITED, sorry.

Layla looked up at the person in front of her desk, and was...shocked. "Ammar? w-what are you doing here?" Layla asked, with her eyes wide open.

"I'm not allowed to?" He asked smirking.

She did her usual 'uncomfortable' laugh and smiled. Seeing she was not ready to talk he went on. "Well, I was really bored so I decided to explore while they prepare for my photo shoot." He said laughing lowly at her expression.

"Oh-Ok um that's cool. Want me to show you around?" Layla offered.

"Sure, thanks."

Asaad's head was turning just like any other day at work. But today, he was going crazy. He sat and stood almost as if it was an obligation.

Pictures of his wife with another man was as disturbing as darth vader's face. He just didn't know what to do. Confront his wife about pictures an unknown number sent? With another man? Who might probably be her co-worker. But the fact that these pictures looked recent and they kept coming for a whole week disturbed him even more.

But either way he knew the best thing to do was to not get mad like how he probably would have been a few months earlier.

His ringing tone cut's his wild thoughts. Seeing the caller ID made him want to scream." Hey Dad, and before you start talking, please tell me you've found Ali cause I don't think I can do this anymore." Asaaad rambled.

"W-what do you mean? I thought it was going so well between the both of you?" Al'amin said trying to avoid answering the question.

"Dad, answer my question!" Asaad insisted.

"Okay, we have nothing. Who ever kidnapped Ali knew what he was doing and he knew how to do it well." Al'amin said, sighing at the end.

"Asaad sorry please I'll call you later." Al'amin said hanging up.

All of a sudden his phone beeped indicating a new message. He opened it up and he was shook. Now he was really regretting getting married. He married a random person only to find out she's cheating on him. He felt like bursting of rage.

****Later that day****

"Assalamualaikum." Asaad breathed out, he calmly walked upstairs to his room. Which Layla wasn't in, and he was more than glad. He suddenly felt a presence and he knew exactly who it was.

He turned around to look at the smiling figure beside the door. "Assalamualaikum." She said coming to hug him. "I've missed you." She said taking in his scent.

'Are you sure you've missed me? Isn't your boyfriend keeping you company' He wanted to say, but of course it didn't go out if his mouth.

"Missed you too." He said, pulling away from the hug.

"How was your day?" She asked sitting on the bed. "I...um actually have to go for a meeting in five minutes so can you please pack my food." Asaad said not giving her a glance.

Her eyes were squinted for a while, but she sighed and shrugged it off. Something was definitely up with her husband, but she was willing to wait.

****1am in the morning****

Asaad opened the door quietly, his plan worked perfectly. Wait for Layla and Isama to fall asleep, then come back home.

He entered the living room, he sighed sitting down, even though he was confused as to why the tv was on. He shrugged it off and changed the channel.

"Salam." Layla sang, coming in with two cuppas. Asaad's heart flipped, why was she awake?

"Why are you awake, are you okay? are you sick?" He asked concerned touching her forehead.

She chuckled saying." I'm fine....don't know about you though." She said, as she lifted her legs on the couch.

"I don't know too, I don't know what's wrong with me? I don't know what to believe.." He sighed, tears forming. She patted her lap, and he slowly rested his head on it.

****

Asaad's heart dropped as another picture was sent to him. Layla holding some random guy's hands and laughing. Asaad couldn't stand it any more so he decided to go to her office. Knowing she didn't go with a car, he decided to do a kind gesture for her, by picking her up (and stalking)

He arrived at the parking lot an stepped out of the car.

"Layla!" A voice called making Layla turn around. "Hi Ammar." She smiled still walking to the door. He helped her open it. "Just wanted to say thank you, you know for everything." Ammar said sincerely.

"Ofcourse, you're welcome, anytime." Layla said. Wanting to say good bye, he unexpectedly pulled her into a hug, which Layla immediately pulled away.

Asaad froze at the jaw dropping moment. He just could not believe his eyes. Layla noticed him and smiled walking to him. Saying nothing to her he entered the car.

He drove quietly, which rarely happened between both of them. They slowly pulled into their drive way, waiting for Layla to step off. "Ali whats up with you? you've been clenching the steering wheel and now I said goodbye but you won't say it back?" Layla asked a little worried and frustrated.

"Just leave, damn it!" He growled.

Layla flinched at his harshness before quickly getting out. He also got out, he pinned her by the car door. "I want you out of my house before I get back from work." He said through gritted teeth.

"But where do I-" Layla started but he cut her off by slamming his clenched fist.

"I don't want to see you when I get back!"
