Chapter 9

next morning I woke up with my alarm I looked at the time and I was 20 minutes late to school already I got up took a quick shower and dressed up with white shorts and a black tank top that says welcome to my paradise with some sunglasses I was walking down the stairs when I smell Bacon and French toast I go to the kitchen and find a note from my mom saying she made me my favorite I eat quick and get inside my car I got to class as fast as I could I opened the door to my science class and when I got inside all eyes were on me

Vera: Ms rose why are you late?

melody: um well I woke up late sorry

Vera: ok have a seat young lady

I was walking towards my seat and saw Marcel I sat next to him and wrote a small note to him

melody: hey Marcel am sorry about yesterday I would love to go with you but like I said am going on a date with Jake

Marcel: um it's okay I guess and you look pretty...

melody: *he said I looked pretty!* thanks you too

Marcel: lol pretty?

melody: u-um I meant good!

Marcel: lol thankyou

I looked over at Marcel and he was looking right back at me I noticed his eyes were the most beautiful eyes I've every seen we were staring at each other for a pretty long time until the teacher caught our attention

Vera: melody! Marcel! stop talking and pay attention

we both looked at each other and smiled and went back to taking notes
