Hot topic at school: Mr. CENSORED was caught texting a student during class time.
People starts talking from one class to another saying that Mr. CENSORED was on his phone texting a female student.
That student was me.
I almost quit school the first time I heard that news and that it's a hot topic right now.
But I had a solution to our problem.
I decided not to texting nor making any connection with him temporary until the talking died down.
We, of course talked about it before carry out this process because we both couldn't afford to lose anything, not right now.
I don't want to jeopardize his career and obviously not my reputation at school.
As you can see now, 1/3 of my reputation has already gone down the toilet and I absolutely cannot afford any other damages.
To my surprise, it actually worked. We're not the trendy topic for gossip anymore. Thank god.
Everything kind of died down when I start denying every single uncleared rumors about me and Mr. CENSORED and plus we don't even talk or get all comfortable with each other during class time, so it all adds up.
By next week, we can go back to the way things were before we became the school's most popular topic.
