Hello. My name is Tyler Robert Joseph. You probably have never heard of me, for I'm not noticed that often. It's okay, though. I'd rather keep it that way.

I don't have many friends. To tell you the truth, I only have one. His name is Brendon Boyd Urie, and he's amazing. He understands me, he accepts me, he's pansexual, and he's really good looking. Not that I like him, or anything...

Here's the thing. You might've noticed by now that I'm some antisocial gay butterfly, which, I mean sure, I guess you could say that. I hate people. At least normal people.

Normal girls, the 'perfect' ones with blonde hair, blue eyes, a deep tan, and a perfect body.

Normal boys, the 'sporty' ones with muscles bigger than your whole body, and a reputation bigger than the universe.

People like that are the people who make me want to die. But I'll get to that later.

*BEEP*

I feel my phone vibrate inside my pocket. Rubbing my still sleepy eyes and taking it out, it says, "Hey, Tyler, our first day of school is tomorrow, wanna hang out before summer ends?"

"Oh shit,... our first day of college," I moan, moping out of my bed. I slowly make my way to my dresser, grabbing a Green Day shirt and some black skinny jeans. This will have to do.

Stripping myself of my pajamas, I start my morning routine off like I do every morning, by looking at my hideous structure I was given in the mirror and criticizing myself for it until I feel that it's time to go eat breakfast.

Thoughts race through my head, 'I'm fat', 'I'm ugly', 'I'm...'. Before I could finish ruining my confidence for the day, the doorbell rings. I quickly finish getting dressed and run downstairs.

Opening the door, a smiling face greets me.

"Brendon!" I say, leaning in to hug my lifelong friend.
