''Lily, Lily, please d-don't hurt him'' Brooklyn screamed as Lily and Alice closed in on her and Alec, Alec who was bleeding and slowly dying in her arms
''Sorry little sis no can do, say goodbye'' Lily laughed as there was a flash of green and then nothing.
Brook shot up out of her bed clutching her chest as she tried to calm herself down, she could feel herself on a verge of another panic attack.
''It's not real Brook come on'' she whispered to herself. Finally, after what felt like forever she could breathe again, she took small little breaths as she got out of bed being as quiet as she could not to wake the girls up.
Walking down to the common room she took out her phone to text Alec to see if he was awake, it was 2:30 so he probably wasn't, she sent the text and waited for a reply
The nightmares had not been this bad for a few months unlike tonight, they were all the same her brothers, cousins, Mia and Alec dying in her arms and she was only able to hold them. To be honest she was terrified of Lily and Alice, after what they did to her she just can't look at them, can't be neer them. She acts tough and tries not to tell the others but tonight was the worst cause it felt so real, so fucking real.
Her phone beeped with a text from Alec, he was coming down to her. It only took him 5 minutes and then the door swung open.
''Brook baby what's wrong'' Alec asked, but she didn't say anything all she did was run into his arms. Alec was not going to lie, he was terrified, she never acted like this so he just ran his hand through her hair and said nothing.
They stayed like that for what felt like forever to Alec, and then Brook pulled back, her ocean blue eyes shining with tears, as he looked up at him.
''What's wrong baby'' He asked, gently taking her hand to sit on the couch.
''I had another nightmare'' she told him, laying her head on his shoulder
''I thought they were gone?''
''They were but tonight, tonight they came back''
''Do you wanna talk about it?'' He asked, placing his lips on her forehead, as she shook her head.
''I just need you Alec'' She said closing her eyes.
So Alec stayed with her, both of them knowing this conversation wasn't over but both knew that tonight was not the time.
