Chapter 2-

Really?! No.

Slipping through the crowd I searched for Sky's mop of red hair. Of course when I found him he was flirting with some girl that looked to be a cheerleader. Smirking I decided to make him mad. Payback is a bitch when it comes to waking me up.

"Hey baby! I was looking for you! I couldn't find you anywhere." I whine as I sling my arm around his waist and give him a wet sloppy kiss on his cheek.

"Oh! Hello, I'm Wyatt but you can call me Wyatt," I laugh sticking my hand out for her to shake. She looks oddly at me and murmurs a confused hello.

"Well, sweetheart is was lovely, and I mean LOVELY meeting you but we have a date to get back to. Bye-Bye!" I giggle and fake my best whiny and girly voice. She flashes me a smile and shoots a glare towards Sky. Once she's out of sight I burst out laughing.

"What the fūck? Seriously? I had that one in the bag." Sky glares at me.

"Sorry," I grunt as I stifle my laugh.

"No you're not, you asshole."

"Does this mean we're breaking up?!" I gasp, feigning hurt. Again I burst out into a fit of laughter, but this time Sky cannot resist and laughs along with me.

The rest of that day we laugh and enjoy the parade and festival. The whole day I almost never think of the mystery girl. To be honest, she barely crossed my mind. Sky and I flirted with other girls and dog whistled at so many that I lost count. What can I say? We're just your average guys.

Later that day the sky began to darken and small raindrops began to fall. In a frenzy people tried to close up the stands and floats. The damage to people's products wouldn't be sustainable with the storm that looked like was coming in.

"Come on, bro. We've got to go it's beginning to pour!" Sky yelled at me through the noise of the rain and people.

"No, you go ahead but I'm going to help clean up!" I tell him back, eyeing a woman with 2 kids trying to clean up her booth.

"Whatever! See you later," he yelled behind him, waving a small goodbye before disappearing into the crowd of people trying to get to their cars. I jogged over to the lady and began to lift her small books she was selling into her big box and helped her fold up the wooden booth. She profusely thanked me as it started to thunder and we hurried away to her car. I held both her young boys in my arms and placed them in the minivan and helped her get everything working.

"Get home before they shut down the roads!" I yell.

"Thank you so much! Do you need a ride?" She asks politely. I nod no and shoo her away. She smiles and backs away driving down the streets just as the police show up to block off the roads. One thing you should know about Louville is we get storms and when I say storms I really mean it. It's a mixture of thunder, lightning, and heavy downpours that cause floods. The police barricade the streets to prevent accidents and keep people away from the flood areas. You basically couldn't get anywhere when they shut down the roads and if it was raining like it was now.

I tuck my head down and start to jog to my house. Luckily it wasn't too far away but it was enough so that by the time I was half way there I looked like I jumped into a pool and had to strip my shirt off because of the weight. I threw it down a park bench and continued to jog through the warm summer rain.

I slow down and stop. Standing still I hold out my arms and enjoy the sound of the wind that howls past my ears, the taste of the sweet rain, the smell of the rained on pavement, the simple touch of the rain that pelts my naked torso. I laugh loudly and look around to see if anybody was around and saw nobody. Thank goodness otherwise they would think I was crazy.
