horror in the forest

That tall, lanky black figure swung its arms at me. Of course you wouldn't let it hit you, but when I ran I suddenly heard "zppp". It was in front of me again! I dodged and ran but it just kept managing to follow me! It almost grabbed me several times but somehow I evaded it. "My luck was going to run out soon, I needed to get away, but if it can teleport, how can I!?" I thought frantically. This time it managed to grab me, by the leg. It turned around to face this monster of the darkness. I dared myself to stare it in the eye and I did. It ominous scream pierced the silence of this dark forest. I took out the only weapon I had which was the wooden axe. I swung the axe stright at its head, causing it let go. I ran straight out of the forest. I turned around, axe at the ready, then that lanky thing  came charging out of the forest but it suddenly stopped. It let out a scream and teleported away right before my eyes. In its place was few purple particles that faded away. I saw it in the distance again before teleported away again.
