Chapter 3

Preview~

"Hi! Does the family Vamps live here?" the mysterious man at the door said interrupting my thoughts. "Oh..Uh yea. And who are you?" "Honey who's at the door?" my mother said as she was walking to where I was.

~Dakaria's P.O.V~

   "Mike! You're here!" my mother said, her voice sounding a bit excited. "Dakaria, meet Mike. He's my boyfriend." "Nice to meet you Mike. I'm Dakaria, but you can call me Daka," I kindly said. "Oh Daka, I want you to meet my son. His name is Alex." Mike said bringing his son forward so I can see him better.

   After introducing each other we went to sit down in the dinner table. My mother and Mike sat next to each other while me and Alex sat in front of them. My mother and Mike were talking to each other and totally ignored me and Alex. I just sat there eating my food, ignoring their little talk they had. Suddenly something touch my leg. I looked to see what it was and to my surprise it was Alex's hand. After a while of trying to get his hand away, but failed, I just left it there. "Daka, why don't you take Alex outside so you guys can get to know each other." I nodded my head and got up. " follow me," I said facing Alex then turning my body to the back yard.

  "What the hell is your problem!!" I shouted my anger boiling inside of me. " What are you talking about," he said that with the calmest voice I've ever heard. By this point we were already outside and I decided to yell at Alex for what he did inside my house. "You know exactly what i'm talking about," I kept screaming until I saw my mother opening the door. She was walking toward me and Alex. Mike was right besides her. I saw them holding hands and that made me crack a little. "Kids, we have something to tell you," my mother said with a smile on her face.

    "We're getting married next week," Mike said, but he was only looking at me. It seemed as if he didn't want to look at Alex. I smiled at them. "I'm glad to hear that, but one question." I looked at them with a serious face."Does that mean we are going to live together?" "Good question Daka and yes we are going to live at Mikes house." my mother said. Her smile still on her face. "Oh, well... when are we moving in?" I asked with a carious voice. " By the end of this week, so they are going to stay here until we get all of our stuff to the other house.

She turned around ready to walk away with Mike with her, but she stopped at turned her head to face me. "Daka could you please show Alex to your room. He'll be sleeping on the floor. Don't worry Alex I asked Maria to put a sleeping bag there for you" and with that she left me with a boy that I knew nothing about. I stood there speechlees, until I finily spoke up. "Follow me," was the only thing that came out of my mouth and soon after I my feet started dragging my body to my room.

Alex entered my room and stat on my bed. " I have no guy clothes so I guess you have to sleep in those," I said pointed to his clothes then pointed to the bathroom door. "Bathroom is right there if you want to take a shower." "Thanks for telling me Daka and I will take a shower," he said while getting up and going to a packbag that was on the floor. I didn't see that there. "Oh and don't worry about me not having clothes. My father told me to bring some cause we were staying there for a while." He said then walking to the bathroom and clothing the door behide him.
