It's now Thursday and my best friend had invited me to her 18th birthday party that her parents let her throw. I've had already asked my mother for permission and of course my mom said yes. I'm now driving to her house to get ready for the party. When I got there, I saw a place to skateboard and my happiness went from 50 to 1000. I went upstairs to where my bestie's room was. "Jane!!" I screamed and ran to her making us fall together. We started to laugh our asses off while we got up. "Sup Daka, ready to get ready for the party?" Jane said with excitement in her voice. "Yup!" I said.
I went into her bathroom with the clothes I was going to wear. Since there was a skateboarding competition, I decided to wear all black.

~Time Skip~
The party has started 1 hour ago and since then people have been coming in, some with beer or with any alcoholic drinks. I've only drank once in my life and that once didn't go to well. Jane told me to let loose and enjoy myself, so I did.
After a few minutes, I saw Alex enter the party. I freaked out. Why didn't Jane not tell me she invited him!? I ran to Jane's room. Why you must ask. Well, The competition was about to start and I need a few things. Before I say what I need, I will explain the rules for the competition. Rule 1, anyone who is participating in the competition has to have a made up name. Rule 2, you have to have a mask to cover half of your face. And the last rule is that you must have a skateboard. Now you know why I went to Jane's room. I grabbed my mask and skateboard. I had already entered myself. I'm number 10 since only 10 people are participating.

Right now, I'm in the crowd waiting for my turn. I had my mask on to people know I was participating. Currently, there is a guy skating. He looked familiar but I couldn't tell since he had a mask. He was a great skater but I can beat him and all the other guys. I can't believe that no other girl wanted to participate except me.
It was now time to announce the winners. I was waiting to hear what place I would come in. I came in first place of course and the person who was second place was the ninth person who performed. I forgot to say the final rule and that was, when the competition was over everyone who participated needed to take of their masks. Except me. I don't have to since I asked Jane to not make me do it.
Jane started by who came last but I didn't give crap about them I only cared about what place i would come in.
She said all the names and their places. When she got to my name and my place she said first place. I was so excited but I didn't show it. "Masks Off!!" Jane screamed from the top of her lungs making me cover my ears. Everyone took of their masks off. I looked around to see who participated. My eyes went wide when i realized that the person who got second place was no other than Alex. i quickly looked away, then i felt the eyes of everyone look at me. I looked at Jane to tell her i was going up stairs but she was already looking at me. She made some puppy eyes and mouthed me a "please". I mouthed her a "fine" cause she knows i cant say no to puppy eyes. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in and out. I took my mask of.
