It was a quiet day in Malfoy Manor, potions were being brewed as past death eaters meandered about, their Dark Lord having disbanded them the week before, their lives were fairly empty, on the edge of being void of meaning. Well, for most of them that was true.
"The baby's coming!!!!" Echoed through the manor accompanied by rushing footsteps and the sloshing of water as a jug was passed from a nervous house elf to an, if possible, even more nervous Lord of the Manor.
"Quick! Out of the waaaay!" Screamed identical twins as they hurled down behind the blond Lord, their dark hair in short ponytails behind them swaying madly.
"Have we got everything? I feel like we're missing something!" Called out the youngest of the encroaching group, his long arms wrapped in a protective knot around the bundle of cloth and equipment for his pregnant cousin.
"For goodness sake Lucius! Are you sure this time?" Bellowed the second youngest of the group, black cloak flapping behind him as he shoved open doors so that his brother in all but blood could pass through unscathed.
"Yes! I'm certain this time!" Was screeched back as they flew past a nervous group of men, all of them clutching their left arms as if asking for help.
Nothing could help them though, not as Lucius Abraxas Malfoy skidded to a halt in his entrance hall to see his wife of six years preparing to go out to town, spilling water all over himself and his friends thanks to him misreading a few signs once again. Typical.
"I asked you if you were sure! You fool!" Growled the black cloak wearing male as he scowled at his friend, unimpressed. Severus Snape may be six years his younger but he could still beat him up if he had to, Lucius was thusly terrified of his best friend and backed away nervously, water mixing with sweat as he attempted a weak smile.
"Oops?"
