Chapter 22: Labor

2 Months Later

Asuna birthday has passed by in a whiff and so had Kirito's birthday, whose birthday was a month after Asuna's.

Asuna was basically ready to pop. She was nine months very close to her due date. A week to be exact. She could pretty much give birth at anytime, any moment.

But that doesn't bother her. In fact, Asuna was still living life to the fullest and even still play ALO with everyone, and they had to admit, it was weird to see a un-pregnant Asuna in the game when everywhere else you see her she is.

And that was another reason Asuna liked playing. Because she didn't look or feel pregnant, she felt like herself, aside from the blue hair.

"I feel so sick." Mumbles Asuna resting her shoulder on Kirito's head. Usually she would be staying with her mother but since she was gone on a business trip Asuna would just run away from the housemaid and sleepover at Kirito's.

It'd be better to be there when she was about to give birth than be by herself with an old housemaid who can barely see.

"Maybe your about to give birth." Shrugs Kirito as he continues to modify whatever he was making.

"Don't say that! I'd rather wait till my last day than give birth now!" Says Asuna sitting up.

"What are you making their anyway?" Asks Asuna. Kirito pulls his little gadget away. "N-nothing! It's a surprise!" He Says. Asuna sighs and lays back down. "Fine, whatever, I don't care anyway." Says Asuna rubbing her stomach and clenching her teeth in pain.

"K-Kirito," thinks Asuna to herself.

"Hm?" He Asks still paying attention to his little gadget. "Kirito! Pay a-attention! I think I-I'm in going in labor." Says Asuna.

"Are you sure there not just pre-labor contractions?" He Asks. Asuna bites down on her lip and shakes her head. "N-no, my water just broke." Says Asuna making Kirito's eyes widen.

"I-I'll get the diaper bag..." he says walking away. "Hurry!" Yells Asuna making Kirito's slow pace speed up.

After about ten minutes Asuna is inserted into the hospital and sitting in the bed.

"D-do you think-" "You'll be Fine," says Kirito taking her hand and giving it a tight squeeze. "Have you called anyone?" Asks Asuna changing the subject. Kirito shakes his head and pulls out his phone. "I'll get to it." He says.

After a few hours Asuna had fallen asleep and Kirito was sitting beside his cousin Suguha. Other than Asuna's mom and Kirito's aunt, only two other people were allowed and that was Suguha and Rika.

Asuna's mother was sitting beside her daughter comforting her and Kirito laughed at the fact that Asuna was pushing her mother away, even in all the pain she was in.

After a few more hours Asuna and Kirito's daughter was born. Her name was Yui (Clearly) Kirigaya And she was born on November 6th.

And that was the beginning of the story of their lives.

So originally, this was gonna be the ending.

Buuuuuut,
I decided to end it when Asuna goes off to college in America.
I literally can't make up my mind so I'm thinking instead of making a sequel I'll just do have time skip in this book as to when Asuna gets back from America after like...two years?

It'll take place after the GGO arc and after the Mother's Rosario arc also soooo,,,
It'll pretty much be before the Ordinal Scale movie.

I don't know when the time skip will be, all I know is that it should be b4 chapter 25 or on chapte 25.
