Chapter 4: Asuna's Mother.

Kirito's POV

"What happened? You guys are all over the news." Asked Sugu over the phone. "Tell the others Asuna was in a accident." I said. "Accident?" Asked Sugu. "Yeah now, I gotta go just tell everyone else."

I hung up and walked into Asuna's hospital room. Seeing her lifeless and still right now makes me remember what happened in ALfheim Online. I shook my head not wanting to remover those horrid memories. I held her hand. "Why'd you always have to make sure I was alive and well, Asuna." I kissed her hand. It was cold.

But, she still had a pulse and she was still alive. That's all that mattered. "So what's wrong with her?" I ask the doctor. "Well there's nothing really broken on her except for her ribs. Other than that it's all sprains. But, she does have a lot of brain damage and on top of that there is a fifty percent chance the baby won't live."

"Is that all?" I ask. He nodded and walked out. "Asuna you gotta hang in there. Make sure our child doesn't die." I whispered silently praying. "Is she alright!" Cried a frantic voice. I tensed. "Um excuse me mam but only family members are allowed in at-" "Well I'm her mother, now let me in." Said the women.

So this was Asuna's mother huh? The one who rejected her and the baby. "Asuna dear I'm so sorry! I should've never yelled at you and told you to leave! None of this would've never happened if I just sat down and talked to you about it. I'm sorry!" She said as tears streamed her face.

Our eyes met. "Y-you must be Kazuto. Your the one who do happened to get her pregnant, right." I nod slowly not liking where this was going. "M-mom?" Said a voice. I looked down. "Asuna!" We both said at the same time. "Kiri- Kazuto!" She Said wrapping her arms around me.

"Why'd you do that Asuna? Your so reckless. Next time you think of pushing me out the way to be the hero remover that your pregnant so when you do something that reckless, your not only liking yourself but our child too." I Said.

"I-I'm sorry but, I couldn't live in this world without knowing that you were safe, by my side." She sniffled our. I smiled. "Hey, no need to cry. I couldn't either just don't anything that reckless. Okay?" She smiled. "Promise." She smiled and then turned to her mother.

"Mo-mother." She Said. Her mom grasped Asuna into a big hug. "I'm so sorry Asuna! I'm so sorry! After today I see how much you both love each other and we'll," she paused. "Well," Asuna continued. Her mom smiled. "I give you both my blessing!" She Said. Asuna smiled and embraced her mom once again. "Oh thank you so much mother!" She Said.

"So, you both will be announcing the pregnancy at Asuna's brothers apartment," She Said. I think it was a question but it sounded like a statement. "Huh?" We both said at the same time. "Yes! I've already made arrangements. "Most of our family and friends will be there and you can even invite some of your family and friends! It'll be a good way to get to know each other before the wedding!" She Spoke.

"Wedding?" We both said.

I clutched Asuna's hand. "Hey, it's okay. I know our child is still alive and fighting." Said Asuna. I smiled. The doctor placed the gel on Asuna's stomach and then began searching for the babies heartbeat.

I closed my eyes as I began to pray. "Well I'm not hearing one but if you would have miscarriage you would've-" the nurse was cut off by the babies heartbeat. "Oh well I guess it was hiding! Do you still not wanna know the gender?" Me and Asuna were about to respond when Asuna's mother said  "Yes, we would like to know the gender. Could you put it in a envelope and bring it to me. Make sure that they don't know though," said Asuna's mother as the nurse left.

"Mom we kinda wanted it to be a surprise." Said Asuna playing with her hands. "No, it's better like this. That way when you become around four or five months we can have a gender reveal party! And then we can have a baby shower! Im gonna have to get those planned soon! Your already two months!" Exclaimed her mother as she walked out.

"Do you ever get a day in your life?" I asked. She shook her head. "That's why I live for the day I finally turn eighteen. I'll be up and out and finally be able to make my own decisions." Said Asuna.

"Anyway, when can you leave?" I ask her. "The doctor said stay just in case something happens over night but then, I'm free to go." Said Asuna yawning. I kissed her forehead. "Well then get some sleep, I'll see you in the morning."

Chapter 5: Valentines Party

I walked downstairs in my outfit.
My mom was making me wear this! And the worst thing about it is that it shows my pregnancy bump. Very visibly too. I walked downstairs. "Aww! How's my favorite girls!" She said kissing me on the forehead the kissing my stomach. I hate to admit but, ever since my accident my mother has been nicer.

"How do you know it's a girl," my mom shrugged. "Mothers intuition now lets get going before we're late!"

I walked inside the doors to my brother apartment. "Wow did, you've gotten way bigger." I turned and smiled. And it was surely my older brother. I rescued in a hugged him. "So, um are you pregnant?" He asks me. I blush. "Uh yeah my boyfriend should be coming later on anyway." I said.
