"Remember to relax over this winter break. Class dismissed and I can't wait to see you all next year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year hedglings."

Louis says with a smile right as the bell goes. His psychology class claps and they begin to exit the hall. Many of his students passed by him to wish him happy holidays as well and then leave.

When he thought everyone was out, he was met by shrieks.

"Alex, Samantha and Julie, to what do I owe this pleasure of possible deafness?"

"What does you winter break look like Mr. T?"

Samantha asked, leaning on Alex's shoulder. Julie was standing on Alex's other side and the three were all wearing winter coats and boots, bags on their backs. Louis started to pack up his briefcase as he answered them.

"Well, I'm signing Harry out till after New Years, possibly have Ava stay at my mum's for a while as I take a trip to Holmes Chapel and then stay home. Why?"

"Harry's still at Fort Montegry?"

"Till the beginning of February. If I can't come up with viable evidence before then, he's going to be moved."

"Isn't that a good thing? Technically he's not a child. He shouldn't be in the kid's hospital."

Alex gave his input. They were almost technically correct, save for the fact that Harry wasn't 18 yet.

"It's not all that great because the adult hospital is basically a fortress. They have insane rules and it's just going to make it harder for me to help him."

"I'm sure you'll find a way Mr. T. You're great like that."

Louis smiled at the three and followed them out of the lecture room. They walked out of the school building, heading to the car park. The students spoke over each other, telling Louis about how they're staying together throughout the break and they were hoping to visit the kids at the hospital on Christmas to give them gifts and spend the afternoon with them.

Louis approved the idea and asked them to send him the details, before getting into his car and driving to Fort Montegry.

On arrival, Louis sighed, wondering why he had to get out of his warm car and out into the freezing world. He psyched himself up and got out, walking fast into the building.

And if Louis thought the interior of the hospital would be warm, boy was he wrong.

The atmosphere was cold indoors and Louis couldn't imagine why they couldn't invest in something as simple as heaters. There were children with low immunities present in the facility for God's sake.

He went up to the reception and was met by one of the nurses whom he, to put it simply, despised.

"Collette."

"Mr. Tomlinson."

"Why is it so cold in here?"

"Powers above said they had no funds to install heaters. We're surviving on our own."

Louis almost replied when he watched one of the kids, a 9-year-old boy, walk past him from the art room to the sleeping areas. What made Louis mad was his clothing. It was the same cloth dressing that Harry wears, the same one they give the kids on arrival, the same one that is 100% not suited for this weather.

"What about sweaters for the kids? You won't change their outfits but you'll still let them freeze to death?!"

Collette, a red-head with an attitude, rolled her eyes and continued to smack her gum obnoxiously in Louis' face. She placed her face in the palm of her hand and supported it on the desk.
