Chapter 10 || Time to talk now?

P.O.V Noa

Beach days are always really relaxing and just chill. After Amy and I sat on the beach and tried to tan, we went to an restaurant at the beach and after that we grabbed ice cream.

Flashback:

" Cookies and cream please." I smiled at the woman. She nodded and grabbed my ice cream. " You are so predictable." Amy said and laughed at me. " Leave me alone! It's my favorite." I said and pouted at Amy.

Amy payed and we left on our way home.

" Do you want to go anywhere else?" Amy says while she looks over at me behind the steering wheel. " No I just want to go home. Im pretty tired." I yawned like it was rehearsed. " Okey then we are going home." Amy said and speed up a little bit more.

End Flashback

" Noa did you hear me?" Luke says as his hand slit from my shoulder to my hand. " Yes just a bit busy up there." I said and pointed at my head. Not knowing where he was talking about.

We sat in the cafeteria. There was a weird vibe in the cafeteria. Everyone was more quiet then normal. And the people who were speaking, talked in whispers.

" How so?" Luke asked. I shrugged my shoulders. I looked at Sam who was looking horrible. It looked like she hadn't slept in days, she had a few scratches across her face and had not talked to us since we saw her this morning.

The principal walked inside of the cafeteria and everyone became quiet. All the pupils turned towards the principal and looked at him attentively.

He looked over all the students and then looked down.

" We have heard terrible news this morning." He began. " I think you all knew Jason Newman. He was the head of the student council and if something was wrong you could always talk to him."

I looked over at Amy who shrugged her shoulders.

" This morning we got a call from his parents with the news," The principal swallowed. " We got the news that he passed away."

I heard students inhale from shock. How the hell did this happen?

" We don't know the reason why he passed away. The hospital wouldn't tell us because-" He got cut off by the sound of a chair. Sams chair.

Sam ran away with her bag and tears running down her face.

What is happening

I didn't think twice about running after her. I stood up out of my chair and started to run after her. I ran towards the doors of the cafeteria when suddenly someone grabbed my wrist. I turned around and saw Ethan holding my wrist.

" Leave her." He said soft. " Let go of me." I said and tried to wiggle out of his grasp. He grabbed my wrist tighter.

I could feel all the eyes in the cafeteria looking at us.

" Noa it's not-" " I said let go Dolan." I said angry and gave a hard tug. He let me go out of his grasp. I looked angry at him and turned around to walk after Sam.

I looked trough the halls and couldn't find Sam.

" Fucking Ethan why?" I said in an angry whisper to myself.

I grabbed my phone and called Sam.

"Please pick up, please pick up." I said while walking from left to right.

" Hey its Sam, leave a message after-"

I cursed to myself. I decided to look around the building. I ran as fast as I could around the building.
