The healing took quite a bit longer than any of us thought. By the time everything was done it was two hours before the train left for Hogwarts and I don't think I'd ever been more hesitant to go to that retched school. Snape and Riddle had remained surprisingly talkative throughout the exchange, asking how I was feeling about the wings, telling me about some of the best memories they had of me, and at some point during the conversation I slipped up and told them about the blocks Dumbledore had placed on me. They hadn't taken that too well, but with some persuasion, and a calming drought from the goblins, they excepted it and comforted me, while still keeping their distance.
"All done Mr. Riddle-Snape! Would you like a mirror to look at yourself in?" The goblin's eyes were kind but I could tell he was surprised by what I looked like. I hadn't gotten a chance to look at myself at all since I got the blocks removed and I refused to look at any of my showing body parts in case they were too badly scarred. I hesitated for but a moment before nodding my head in agreement. He smiled widely before walking over to the beside table, grabbed something, and walked back over to hand it to me.
I didn't even spare a glance at most of my appearance before my eyes were suddenly draw to my scar less chest. I let out a quiet gasp touching it slowly, tears coming to my eyes. I didn't have to be reminded of that horrid man every time I looked at myself in the mirror any more, I didn't have to have horror ridden flash backs every time I spared myself a glance. There were of course some of the worst ones left behind, but they didn't look nearly as bad as they had looked before. I felt some tears leave my eyes but I couldn't have cared less at that point, my body was no longer ridden with the remanence that man left behind. I felt the stares of everyone in the room, and felt their concern but the biggest grin I had ever had tore through my face as an ecstatic sob left my mouth. My hand went to my mouth to try and stifle the noises leaving my throat but my hand was no match for the sounds leaving me.
A croon resounded throughout the room, almost like a bird trying to comfort their children, I felt a hand land on my shoulder and let another sob escape.
"Hadrian..." Riddle's voice rang clear in my head, I couldn't tear my eyes from my chest and my hand wouldn't leave my mouth, "You never have to go back there. I promise you." I felt the sincerity from his words and nodded, tears still falling from my eyes as I finally manged to move my eyes from the chest that I almost couldn't except was my own. I forced my hands to my eyes to furiously wipe at the tears so I could see more of what I had become. The tears receded fast and I could make out what had happened to my body, which let me tell you was a lot.
The first thing to draw my attention was that I had scales scattered in patches up and down my arms, legs and some along my neck. They were a pale gold with brown patterns etched into them that matched well with my long, straight black hair and dual colored eyes. One of the eyes was a rich amber with an emerald green spreading from the center and a dark ring of black around the outer ring while the other was a light lilac with a fierce blue fading from the center outwards towards the dark ring around the purple. Hidden within my dark hair were two small horns that were slightly darker than the average deer horn and right next to those were what appeared to be small, black, doe ears.
I had felt the extra appendages from the second the transformation began but actually seeing them was a very different experience. Sprouting from my back were two giant shimmering wings that looked to be three times my size but folded nicely against my back. Golden feathers followed the large bone of the wing snugly, shifting white when the sun hit them, while spreading from that were pitch black scaled wings that shifted in the light to show a lovely dark purple underneath. Stretching from my tailbone however was a large tail that began as the same dark purple scales but towards the end flared out to the golden feathers most likely used for balance. I had a few golden markings following the curves of my body, ending up being like a vine twirling around my body from my crown where the markings connected, producing a lovely swirling design. Some of the markings were centered around my chest, collar bones, and spikes along my back but not too many that would clutter my chest with the scales following my rips, almost melding into my skin.
My lips were much more full and plump, hiding the fangs that resided there, and my face had become much more feminine while still showing the new aristocratic shape. My body had many more curves but still held onto a lot of muscle, giving me a strong but dainty look. My hands had replaced the nails with sharp claws that still somehow pulled off a soft look and my ears were now pulled to a point. Hidden well by my scales were what appeared to be gills, which was odd when added to the wings, but some how pulled my whole appearance together. To say it was a shock to see myself changed so drastically would be an understatement. Not only was I much more attractive than I was originally, but I had new limbs to learn to work with, and possibly even fly with! My eyes raked over my body one more time before beginning to lower the mirror. I would imagine my face was one of shock, but I don't believe it mattered at that time.
I turned towards my parents with a grin etched onto my face, only to have it slide off at the looks they were giving me. They were stern, but most of the emotion was hidden behind whatever mask they had in place. Where they angry at me? Did I do something wrong? Was I not what they hoped I would be? My eyes darted between the two, a bit of fear showing through. No, not fear, confusion maybe? I wasn't entirely sure what I was feeling, but it wasn't pleasant.
"D-did I do something?" My voice wavered, but for the most part held strong even while I curled in upon myself. I felt more than saw Riddle sigh.
"No Hadrian, you didn't do anything to gain our anger." He smiled at me, "I highly doubt you ever could." My eyebrows knitted together. Then why were they looking at me like that? "We would wish to talk to you about whether or not you would want to go to Hogwarts." I was surprised at that. Why would they need my permission to send me off to that school?
"W-what?" I looked at them, trying my hardest to show them my confusion.
"We are not about to send you off without you wanting to go!" I was Snape that replied that time. I jumped slightly, not fearfully, just surprised.
"W-well," I started, thinking it over, "I do want to stay with you, b-but I have to go to some school, a-and while homeschooling sounds wonderful, I still have to find, whoever it was you were talking about. A-a mate is a person right?" I looked at them for conformation, they nodded. "T-then wouldn't it make sense to search there first? H-hogwarts has many people in it." I looked at them, a little worried they wouldn't like the idea, but they only grinned back.
"Ah how I wish you were wrong little one!" Riddle's voice bounced around the room, "It would be wise to go to Hogwarts to find your mates, although we would miss you very dearly. Your mates are meant to keep you happy for all your days, almost like a muggle soulmate." My eyes widened at that, "Yes little one, soulmate. They are meant to protect you and keep you healthy, as creatures should. You are a submissive, the one who the dominants take care of and keep safe. Dominants are the protectors, they are in the relationship to keep you from harm that may befall you for being a creature in this day and age. If, by chance, you have more than one mate, then one or more of them would be called the beta. The beta is the middle ground of the relationship, meant to protect the submissive, while still being cared for by the dominant, some are more submissive than others, while some are very dominant." He smiled at me warmly, "I am almost positive you will have more than one mate, which for many is frowned upon, but no one is able to help who their mate or mates are."
"Of course! And I am more than happy to teach you about how your submissive body works, since male submissives are known to have some changes happening to their body they may not be familiar with. While both me and Riddle have only given you one creature, it is obvious mother magic wished for you to have more." Snape's eyes shown with excitement, "If you don't mind me asking, what creatures are you?"
I gave him a small smile, "Well I have quite a few." I laughed slightly, "Umm, I believe it said I was a Dragan Daonna, a Tiarna Nathair, and a Aistritheoir, whatever those are. I also believe they mentioned me being a Seer. a fallen angel, a Siren, and a Nature Lord, again, whatever those are." I chuckled lightly, looked up to see their absolute shocked faces.

(A/N) Hello again! I have been itching to write in this story all week and have finally got the time to do so! This was so fun! Do you like how Hadrian looks? I sure do! I wanted him to look much different than his parent, almost like a different child so that it would make it easier to people to look at him without seeing Tom Riddle. That will come in late on in the story but for now I'll leave it up to you to speculate! Hope you enjoyed!
