***Warning*** Mentions of attempted rape in this chapter.

Madam Malkin was the sweetest lady, she was in my first year as well, but now she seemed extra kind. Maybe she realized I wasn't under Dumbledore's thumb anymore. Well I may never know. She was all over the place while we were here, she bustled around quite a bit.
"Goodness! I completely forgot!" Her voice was quite familiar by now, "you have to show what your creature form is so that I can make the clothes to accompany any extra appendages, if that isn't your creature form that is." I smiled quietly at her before removing my shirt and searching my magic for the wings, horns and tail currently folded into my frame. I let my ears perk up as I felt my wings push out of the almost invisible slits on my back and as my tail slid out of my lower back while my horns and spikes slowly emerged with them. The markings glowed a bit more brightly and my scales seemed to shimmer with my wings as my oddly colored magic swirled around me. My eyes opened again, I hadn't realized I closed them, and I let my fangs grow with the rest of my body. I sighed when it was over, my body may be able to hold my wings and tail in itself, but that didn't mean it was particularly pleasant. I looked towards the Madam incase she was unable to work with it only to see her awe at what I looked like. I felt my cheeks flush a bright red that could rival a rose's if compared.
"Dear Merlin..." he voice was hushed, stunned. "What did you say you were again?" He voice didn't change in tone, it was kind, but it was certainly awed. I heard boisterous laughter from my right, were my parents stood, with grins bigger than that of a cat.
"That, Madam, is something you would not believe." Snape's voice seemed to shock her from her stupor.
"Oh dear, whoever your mate is I worry for greatly. They will have a troubled time fending off unwanted suitors." He voice was gentle, but I could see the worry in her eyes. I felt my own widen and looked at my parents a little fearfully, seeing them sigh.
"Yes, that is what we fear. Is there any way we could get scent blocking included into the robes Madam?" Riddle said sadly, "it may not drive off all of the suitors, but it should help." She simply nodded, pity seeping into her gaze, while I just stood there, having an internal panic attack.
"Hadrian?" It was Snape that noticed first. I couldn't handle people trying to get with me every hour of the day. If what they were saying had any indication of what people may do to get with me, I had reason to be fearful. "Hadrian. No one will do anything to you that you do not want." His voice was stronger than I imagined it, "we have ways to prepare for that." I still looked onto him fearfully, he sighed, "come here." He opened his arms, gently coaxing me over. It didn't take much until I was in his arms, being gently held and whispered to. I felt Madam Malkin's presence leave the room, most likely to give us some space. Riddle wrapped his arms around me as well, quietly holding my head in his hand and I buried my face into both of their robes. Vernon had done nothing sexual with me, but he had gotten close on many occasions and I didn't know if I could handle any exceptionally trying attempts, especially if they would try to force me. They shushed me, comforting my racing mind while October remained silent and simply rubbed against my scales, sending waves of calm rocking over my body. I wasn't going through what I went through back in Gringotts but this certainly wasn't pleasant either. I was shaking quite a bit and I felt my own breath stutter on multiple occasions, but with their strong arms around me and their comforting scent it was easy to calm down. Snape smelt like a mix of potion ingredients and lavender while Riddle smelt of firewood and rainwater. Together they smelt uncannily like a cabin in the woods, a familiar and wonderful scent.
"Come now Hadrian. You won't have anyone go near you once you find your mate." I felt my doe ears flatten, I feared they wouldn't want me, no one else does besides those required to have me. I mean look at Ron and Ginny for example! Hermione may not have made a bind with potions or spells with me, but she always sided with Ron or Dumbledore, I wouldn't be surprised if she was forced to be my friend. I forced the thoughts away, now was not the time to be thinking like that, I had things to do.
"Here. We planned to give this to you as a gift when we first sent you off to Hogwarts when we hadn't lost you yet, but you need it now." Snape pushes me away just enough for him to reach into his robe pocket and retrieve something that was in a black velvet box. I looked up at him trough my lashes which had grown a lot and quietly took the small box. I looked down at it and slowly pulled the lid off, reviewing a stunning golden necklace inside. I gasp as I took in the intricate carvings that covered the pendant. It was a beautiful snake with a lilac colored gemstone for an eye twirling around a flying Phoenix with an amber colored gem stone for its eye. It looked so life like! Every single detail was precariously sketched into the soft metal and I could feel the magic coming off of it in strong pulses.
"It has a protection charm on it. It is customary for creature parents to give their children gifts of protection if they are submissive for until their mate finds them. Then the gifts tend to loose a part of their power." Riddle's voice sent waves of calm and thankfulness through me. Honestly, why did I think they'd send me off without any protection anyway. "The snake symbolizes our willingness to sneak around or stand up for you whenever you need protection while the Phoenix symbolizes our hope to guide and heal you in every part of your life. Their eyes were based off of yours." Riddle's voice was soft and comforting, they really put a lot of effort into this. I felt my eyes well up and looked at them almost ready to burst into tears because of how grateful I was, they cooed at me and hugged me harder, pulling my head back into Snape's chest.
"Thank you." I whispered, just absorbing the love and care flying around the room. My voice almost broke when I said it, I had never had anyone give me something so precious before, nor had anyone thought about me enough to know that I would appreciate something like this. They continued cooing until it got to where we were sitting on the stools, practically falling off. It was Riddle who pulled away first.
"Now. We must get you your clothes, I believe the Madam is almost done if the noise level in the back is anything to go by." I smiled and nodded, which was perfect timing because that was precisely when the Madam walked out, caring rows upon rows of clothes. I knew Duddly had a lot of clothes but this must have dwarfed how many he had by the dozens! I felt my parents smile and motioned for the Madam to just check them out, handing her their cards.
"50% off for such a lovely family I say!" The Madam's voice rang out.
"Oh, Madam we couldn't-"
"Nonsense! This is my shop and your young one needs clothes! 50% off!"
