We exited the room holding hands, my hand felt so small compared to his. The party at the same volume as before, though the game of 7 minutes in heaven seemed to have ended. As soon as we got to the bottom of the stairs, Stacy, who was sitting on the couch in the living room looked up at me. She had the biggest grin on her face as soon as she saw Ty and I holding hands. She immediately got up and ran over to me, grabbing me by the arm and tugging me with her. "SORRY TY I NEED TO BORROW HER FOR A SECOND!!" she yelled as she took me around the corner and into the laundry room. She turned the lights on and shut the door. "Oh my gosh, what happened!? Tell me everything!" she said, you could hear the excitement in her voice. "I don't kiss and tell." I said, rolling my eyes. "So you kissed?" she elbowed me playfully. "Maybe. Maybe not." I joked. "How was it!? How did it happen!? What it everything you imagined!?" she pestered. Finally, I broke. "Oh my god, Stacy, it was amazing! Even better than I thought it'd be, and it was so unexpected! I thought I was going to get some other guy I'd have to sit awkwardly with for 7 minutes, I was so relieved when it was him." I went on and on, telling her every detail of what happened for the next 10 minutes. "We totally need to go on a double date sometime!" she gushed. "Yeah, but he never asked me to be his girlfriend. But at one point, he said he loved me." I confessed. "WHAT!?!? He said he LOVED you!? What did you say!?" she asked. "I.. didn't say anything... He sort of just moved on with the conversation nonchalantly." I told her. "What!? You have to say it back! I mean, assuming you feel the same way. Do you?" I thought about it, and I did. Didn't take more than 2 seconds of me thinking to figure that out. "Yeah, definitely." I said. "Well come on, we gotta get back out there so you can tell him!" she urged, opening to door so we could leave.
