Chapter 22

"Andy." Greyson waved his hand at my face. I snapped out of it and stare at his innocent face. He looked at me with concern and love in his eyes. "Are you listening?"

I look around his room. My eyes landed on his clock, 8:45 p.m... I gulped then look back at him. I never knew this sleep-over's gonna be a pain in the head. But I need to tell him. He has the right to know.

"Umm... What again?" I smiled.

He sighed then raised one eyebrow. "Sam's having a barbeque tomorrow, Do you wanna come?"

"Uh-Yeah... sure...That'll be great."

Then there was a long awkward silence.

"Is something bothering you, Andy?" Greyson asked. "Ever since you've got here, you've been in a daze. You're not even listening to me."

"I-It's nothing really. I-"

"Andy." He looked at me, this time with eyes I can't resist. "I know you. You were never that good in hiding things."

I softly chuckled then brushed my lips against his. It was soft and warm at the same time. He was surprised, no doubt. But seconds later, I felt him kissing back. His hands went up to my face then he slowly pulled away, staring at my eyes.

"What was that for?" He whispered.

"Is it bad to kiss someone you love?" I smiled.

"Oh Really-- Wait..." He paused then look at me with a smile in his face. "Did you just say you--"

"Yes." I smiled. "I love you, Greyson."

"Am I dreaming?" He whispered at my ear. "But It seems so real."

"Well I wish it wasn't." I frowned.

He backed away then look at me funny. "What do you mean by that?"

As Greyson look at me with mix emotions, a flashback came right inside my head. It was so clear that I can't help but remeber it.

"What?!" I said in disbelief. "W-Why?"

"It's you're Aunt Daisy." Dad said. "Someone needs to take care of her."

"How about Uncle Rola-"

"Roland and Daisy are divorced, Andy." Mom cutted in. "He's just gonna make things worse."

I looked down and stared at my feet. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I look up and saw that it was my Dad, with eyes warm and soothing.

"I'm sorry sweetie. I mean... things about you and Greys-"

"No." I said. "Greyson and I...--breaths deeply-- aren't a thing. I can leave him...It's no big deal." I gulped then bit my lip.

"Are you sure there's nothing more?" Mom asked, with concern in her voice. "I mean... It's because of him, you-"
