[Name] was tired, and on top of that, she still had a lot of projects to do.

She decided that she would do the most stressful thing, in the least stressful place she could think of. She was going to do all of her projects in a cat café.

[Name] entered the cat café, a happy expression on her face as she carried with her one backpack and another bag for her laptop. She resisted the urge to drop everything and just hug all the cute cats that were around.

"Hey, [Name]. You're here." A young man says behind the counter, tilting his head with a bright smile. That smile disappears once he sees her bags. "[Name], you know you aren't allowed to live here. We've been through this." Said girl blushes and waves him off, "No, stupid, this is for a project." He looked relieved.

She sat herself down at the corner of the room, setting her things up. She plugged in her laptop and took materials from her that she needed for another project. She was rummaging through her bag and she started to panic, she was sure she placed it in here somewhere.. Did she forget? It was important, her partner had trusted her with this part of their project, he would surely think she was unreliable if she loses it or is unable to finish it today-

A cat had gone under the table [Name] was seated in and had begun to nuzzle itself onto [Name]'s leg. [Name] immediately relaxed and, this time, slowly went through her bag. It was there. Thank goodness.

Before [Name] started everything, she picked the cat up. It was a large, black cat. It looked at [Name] with a calm expression. "You're so cute, Kunta. You make me happy." She says happily, holding it close with a happy sigh, not letting go even with said cat beginning to scratch [Name]'s collarbone.

"Hey, [Name]. You aren't allowed to pick the cats up, how many times do I have to tell you?" The young man behind the counter calls out to her once more. "Sorry Jaebum, I just love them so much." [Name] pretends to cry, putting down the cat, who gladly went away from her. "So cruel. How can they make you feel so much then just take it away." Jaebum waves her off, "Aren't you supposed to be working on something? What an unreliable student." She sticks her tongue out at him, but begins working on what she needed to anyway.

There weren't a lot of people that afternoon and she was thankful for that. Not because it would be too noisy or that the people would be bothering her, but because she could have the cats to herself. Those sweet, yet cruel, and fluffy creatures.

She almost glued the wrong things together. Cats were going to kill her one day, and it wouldn't be because of their claws which seem to be sharper every time she came to this place..

She sighed, "It's going to be a long afternoon.."

She was right.

She didn't know how long she'd been there, but she was worn out. How many drinks had she ordered already? How many hours has it been?

"Why are you working on so many anyway?" Jaebum stopped by and glanced at [Name]'s work. She had finished two projects, one online and one hand-written essay. She had given up on that illustration board, since the cats seemed to think the pole-looking paper glued to it was a scratching pole. "I wanted to finish all my projects so I could start focusing on tests."

"So you don't actually have to do this? You don't seem like the responsible type." She swats his hands away before he could get to her essay. "Quiet. Go away. You're distracting me."
