Bayleigh and Serena spent the entire night gossiping and became best friends over night, they had a great night and even after consuming half a bottle of champagne. Serena needed to realize the tension in herself that she felt after the day she had with Max. Bayleigh just needed to drink, since she too had a rough day with her parents. They gladly enjoyed eachothers company.

They planned their schedules together via facebook before meeting so they shared a most of their classes.

They emptied their boxes drunkenly and laughed at each other when they fell over. Clothes were thrown over the bunks and their new couch. They crashed on the floor after all that "hard work" they giggled and told more stories and soon then passed out.

The next morning, they grabbed clothes and went to the showers. Bayleigh hated the idea of a community shower but Serena had no problem with it at all. They both showered and moved on with their days.

They walked around campus and checked out all the boys on their long boards and the girls running around in the shortest shorts they possible owned.

Serena and her, laughed at some random red head who was basically wearing a swim suit around campus. Her stomach and legs were all hanging out. She looked at them shocked and then blushed. That made them laugh even harder.

When they got to their first classroom, Serena was shocked at how large the lecture hall actually was. She came from a small town an hour away, she graduated with a class of 50 students, this college alone with the freshman year was over a thousand kids.

She enjoyed the fact that there is now thousands of other boys in this city to take her mind off of Max.

Bayleigh found a couple of seats near a girl that she introduced Serena to as Katie. She was in the dorm across the hall from them and seemed nice.

Serena's wolf never shows attention to people much, but she made the remark of wolf as she shook hands with Katie. Serena shook those thoughts away. She did not acknowledge her wolf much because she never was part of a pack or anything. Her parents remained in their hometown after their pack moved to a bigger city. They too did not shift into their wolves either, they wanted to be as human as possible.

Serena did not even consider the fact that she was going to meet other wolves here and she got incredible nervous then. Katie winked at her as they were introduced, she knew too. duh. Serena gave her a weak smile, knowing that she would have to face the fact that she is a wolf now. She hasn't shifted in years, "Do i even remember how?" She thought to herself.

Katie was new here too so she sat with us. Bayleigh told her about the girl that we laughed at outside and it turned out that she was Katie's roommate. We all bursted out laughing, Katie told us more and apparently that girl used to be a geek in high school and just now figured out how to become "Sexy." Serena just about died then.

"Someone needs to give her a makeover!" Bayleigh screamed between laughing. We ended our small talk when they professor showed up.

Serena sat into her chair and sank back.

The professor began to set up her things when Serena caught the scent. The scent that she was been dreading since the day she knew what mates were. She did not dare look around or give attention to the scent. Ignore it and it will go away she told herself.

MATE MATE MATE her wolf called out.

That's enough with you. Serena snapped back to her wolf internally.

She felt his eyes on the back of her head but she tried to ignore them, this was a history class and she loved history more than any other subject. She wanted to enjoy this class and not have him ruin it.

A boy rushed into class after the teacher was calling for names. she looked up at him.

"Your name?" She said sternly. She looked super intense.

"It's Mason," He awkwardly sat down next to Serena, since the hall was packed full and there was no other seats. He gave her a smile. She smiled back as she moved her things off his chair. Her heart was racing at the fact that her mate was watching her flirt with this guy but does she care? She has a boyfriend too but that's not stopping her.

She did feel bad for acting like this in front of her mate. But she has lived a human life.

She did not want to be bound to someone that she has never met. She liked the human aspect of it, fall in love with who ever you chose, not someone who was picked for you. Takes away the fun out of going on dates if you know that you have to be with this person for the rest of your life. She is almost at a breaking point with Max and the last thing that she needs is to get into another relationship, and with her mate, it is going to be a permant one. She just got to college, she wanted to party, just a little bit.

Mason was a human and super attractive. They did not really speak during class but he kept bumping her with his elbow to keep her focus off class and on him. She would then bump him back after a couple times of him doing it.

They exchanged numbers after class and then went their separate ways. Bayleigh linked arms with her then and pulled her along to the coffee shop near the center of campus. Katie followed.

"Details!!" She screeched as Katie laughed after them.

Serena smiled, she was moving on from Max hopefully. Nothing can be better for her now than that.

Callum watched her walk away with that tiny blond girl and some wolf from out of town. His heart sank deeper into his chest. He wanted a mate, he wanted her, but his father would make him alpha then.. He did not want to be alpha yet. He just got into college...he too wanted a release while being here. He scratched his head as he continued to watch her walk.

"Damn look at those legs," He said to himself. His best friend, Derrek walked up next to him.

"You don't have to tell me," Derrek said, also eye balling Serena as she got farther away from them. Callum growled at him, causing Derrek to stand down.

"Okay man, chill, I did not know," He put his hands up, as if to protect himself. He stood up a couple seconds later after Callum accepted his apology.

"Damn though, dude. You lucky bastard." Derrek gave him a pat on the back and then went his separate way.

Callum smiled, he was lucky to have a sexy mate like that, but she is yet to even acknowledge the fact that he even existed.
