Chapter 4: My Actual Queen

"O...M...G!" Evelyn shouts, so loudly that I have to pull the phone away from my ear, "I think I might cry!"

"I know right? I'm literally still shaking!" I reply, flinging my free arm out in front of me.

"Come on, spill the details! When is it, where is it, how long will it take to get there?"

"Okay, okay," I chuckle, "It's on Sunday the 25th of February at 1pm and it's in London, only about 20 minutes away."

"Eek! I'm so excited, I can't even!" I hear a faint voice call out on the other side of the phone, "Ugh, sorry, that's my mum. We'll talk soon, yeah?"

"Yep." I agree, my cheeks aching from grinning so much."

"Okay, bye!"

I giggle as Evelyn hangs up, grateful to have such a good friend. I pick myself up off the sofa and head towards my room, bringing my new t-shirt, chocolates, book and of course the tickets, up with me and throw myself onto my bed.

I grab my laptop, open up the lid and click onto YouTube. I scroll through my subscription feed and spot a new Zoella video. How fitting.

I immediately tap on the thumbnail and wait for the video to load as I relax against the wall. Zoe's voice is so cheerful and bubbly that she could brighten my day no matter what. She's my actual queen.

As I listen to Zoe's calming voice, I open a new tab and log into twitter. I start to compose a long, heartfelt tweet for Zoe, about my birthday, about the tickets and about my general love for her. I'm smiling so wide as I hit 'tweet' that I feel like my jaw is going to snap in half.

I feel my phone vibrate on the covers next to me and see a text from another one of my friends, Phoebe.

Phoebe is quite a good friend of mine, although we haven't been friends for very long. We met through a lunchtime art club that I tried out a couple years back and started to get to know each other. Although she'll never be as close a friend to me as Evelyn, she's pretty cool.

I unlock my phone and quickly scan through the message, my eyes darting across the screen. I squeal as loud as I can manage and clap my hands in excitement, dropping my phone in the process.

Alex. Martin. Likes. Me.

I've never been happier.

A/N

So, I've been quite uninspired lately which is why I've not been posting as much but I thought I should make this chapter.

I've decided to add an element of romance to this story so the next few chapters may be a bit more to do with that.

I'm going to try and post a bit more often but I do keep on forgetting (oopsies).

Don't forget to rate and comment!
