▪ Shy Rose AU One Shot ▪

This is an idea I've had for a while, so I wrote it out. I hope you like it🏵

⚜ Coming to Regal Academy ⚜

Rose felt really stalkers following a random stranger into a dark alley, however despite her shy nature she couldn't just resist the urge. After all it was for a good cause.

She inserted the key and suddenly a door appeared and opened. Rose leaned through the door to look at what it was about and saw only the blue sky under her. She got scared and tried to lean away from the door. However she, in typical Rose fashion, slipped and fell through the door, down into the seemingly bottomless abyss.

A dragon appeared next to her and caught her in the middle of the air. A million thoughts went through her head as the dragon dropped her off on the ground.

She fell on the ground and slowly got up, looking around her. Once she saw everyone's eyes on her she sat down again, lowered her head and attempted to cover her face with her hair.

From under the strands of her hair she noticed someone walk over to her, the figure knelled down and uncovered her face:"Don't be scared Rose."

"Ah!" Rose shrieked somewhat loudly and immediately backed up," How do you know my name?"

"Oh sweetie, I'm your grandmother Cinderella", the lady spoke softly.

"Wait so that means-", Rose began but Cinderella interrupted her.

"That you're a Cinderella? Well yes. Now get up, this is Regal Academy. A school for the grandchildren of fairy tales. We welcome you with open arms", Cinderella, her supposed grandmother spoke.

Rose stayed silent, not really knowing how to react. Cinderella extended her hand, and she nervously and hesitantly took it, getting up and standing straight.

"You know Cinderella, I expected someone more lively for your grandmother", a lady with blue hair spoke, almost laughing.

Rose hid behind her grandmother for some time, however that was short-lived as the teachers left and all the students walked into the school.

Rose was last to walk in, and she did so going completely unnoticed by anyone. Two girls sat at both sides of her, and she regretted all of her life choices at that point.

⚜ Teamed up ⚜

The mirror had choosen a team of four, however one more place was let and due to Rose's (nonexistent) luck she just so happened to be chosen.

She got up and walked to her team, keeping her head down. Not wanting to make any interactions.

Their first task was getting their family stamps and boy was that a trouble. Everyone had found their stamps, everyone except Rose. And she felt horrible about it.

Currently, they are in the ballroom pointlessly searching for the stamp until arose noticed something on the chandelier. She walked over to the closest team member to her and tapped his shoulder. He so happened to be a very charming blue haired prince that exhibited the exact opposite of Rose's personality.

"What do you want?", he turned around and asked kinds rudely.

Rose looked down not really sure if she should speak, but she did anyway:"Um, I think the stamp might be up on the chandelier."

She pointed to where she had seen it and boy looked over, squinting his eyes to see if she was right. "Y'know I think you're on to something. Astoria, give uh- the Blondie a lift to the chandelier. I think it's up there."

"Sure", Astoria extended her hair and wrapped it around Rose's waist lifting her up in the air. Rose tried her hardest not to scream. She sighted as her feet stood on the chandelier, at least she wasn't in the middle of the air anymore.

She found the stamp and called out to Astoria: "I found it, you can put me down now."

"Great!", Astoria pulled her down however that did not go as planned.

Rose was hit with a spell and therefor dropped the stamp, said spell also caused her to start falling. Hawk ran over and caught her.

"What happened?", Joy asked, looking concerned for her new teammate.

"I happened," a voice said and the figure walked into the ballroom,"And now I will be first."

"VICKY!", Astoria yelled," I should've guessed it was you!"

"Well of course darling, you can have your stamp now. Good luck", Vicky dropped the stamp and walked out the ballroom.

"AGH!!", Astoria growled.

Rose looked at Hawk with a concerned look and stood up, getting out of his grip.

"Calm down, we'll get another stamp", Travis said and put a hand on Astoria's shoulder.

"Fine, I guess", Astoria sighted,"Let's go."

"I'm sorry", Rose whispered to no one in particular.

"Hey it's fine. It isn't your fault Vicky is a meanie", Hawk said and walked out of the ballroom.

Rose followed him, a slight smile on her face. This might not be that bad after all.
