"My dearest queen,
ever since your dissapearence the kingdom has turned cold, almost lifeless without your beautiful smile, your sparkling eyes and soft voice. The castle halls are now silent, not only at night, but at all times and it makes my heart ache for your presence. I have taken on the duty of complete charge over the land, ressuming your old job you used to love so much. I have made my promises to never choose another one to rule on your throne as far I live, knowing you would be dissapointed in me and my actions.
You will forever stay in my heart, no matter how much it may pain me to continue my existence without a beautiful sunshine such as yourself by my side at all times. I write this letter to you, my love, fully knowing you may never read it as you are gone, above the clouds, however I wish to express my feelings in some way so if you do deside to come by in some form you may read it if you please.

Hawk put down his feather, leaving the letter he had written all alone.
He checked one last time on his dear daughter Ashlyn, kissing her forehead as she slept. She smiled.
He walked away with a smile on his face but tears still streaming down from his eyes as waterfalls.
She was gone now and there was nothing he could to about it. He picked up the last rose she had given him.
"How ironic it is, this imortal rose shall never die, but dear I guess your spirit deserved to fly..."
