When I woke up, the images from the dream were as clear as if had watched a game's launch trailer for the first time. The three teenagers, the hill, the scarred tree, the giant lion... When I looked at the window, I realized it was already morning. Lucas muttered something as he pulled the sheets towards him, never one to share, even in his sleep. Dad was already out of bed in the shower while my mom caught a few last Zs before the inevitable. Without sparing a word I left the bed, inwardly cringing as I left it's warm confines and allowed my body to make direct contact with the still cold floor.

I was so wrapped up on the dream, trying to understand everything I could recall only to become more frustrated a crazy possibility came to mind. That initials on the kids' shirts, C.H.B, and they were wearing summer camp outfits and carrying Greek weaponry. We were just leaving the hotel when I spoke up.

"The camp we're going to, does it have the initials C.H.B by any chance?" My question took everyone by surprise. Dad and mom were already worried with my silence, usually I was the most talkative in the morning. Lucas couldn't care less, I had this joke that if George Washington came down from heavens above to greet him in the morning, Lucas would just glare and tell him to shut up before falling asleep. Too sleepy to go for a more violent solution. As lake Eerie dimmed in the distance, I saw a dark shadow twisting underneath it, before I could tell Lucas, mom finally spoke up.

"As a matter of fact yes, that's what your biological fathers and the Activities Director called it Camp Half Blood," Mom finally admitted, Lucas immediately went on to insult the name in every way imaginable. Talos' ears perked up for a few moments before dropping, the big guy had been watching the lake since we left the hotel. I recalled few instances when the usually easygoing hound became so serious. Usually they involved monsters so I guess he just noticed the thing underwater, likely that stupidly named Bessie, while I was busy trying to understand my dream. With my mom unwilling to answer any more questions about the camp and just as sternly, I refused to tell her where I learned the name. To avoid more awkwardness, I turned on my IPhone and started watching The Walking Dead episodes I downloaded with the hotel's wi-Fi.

"Hey boys, check the windows, this place actually has a new view," Mom snapped me out of my thoughts. I was still processing how Negan killed off two of my favorite characters and was still somehow a likable character when she called our attention. Meander Creek Reservoir, Ohio or so dad said. Comparing it to the rolling hills of Nagrand or the mystical feel of Crystalsong Forest back in WoW, my expectations for scenery were quite low. Alas, despite preferring the comfort of home and the unbelivable views of fantasy worlds, even I managed to appreciate a good scenery when I saw it with my own eyes. On the distance, I saw the massive white stone reservoir that split the levels of the lake. The clear water reflecting the surrounding woods with perfection. Truly a sight to behold.

Once again, Talos saw it first. As soon as he went over me to get a taste of the wind, his eyes zeroed on the lake and he began to bark. I gave him a brief whistle before returning my focus to the phone's screen, I'd just finish that scene and then I'd snap a photo or two or the reservoir. I never had the chance. Seconds later, Talos began to bark again, I barely heard a loud splash over his barking. Dad must have sensed trouble because he turned the wheel, seconds later I felt something massive hit the car before Lucas and mom shouted out. I must have blacked out for a few minutes afterwards, because where I first was holding my phone, with Talos sticking his head through the window and feeling like another moment of that road trip, things changed completely.

Upside down, the car was on it's side somewhere off road. Lucas was stuck, his door pressed against the ground. As I regained consciousness, I realized mom and dad were uncouncious. The car's front window had shattered, but the glass seemed to have out instead of in. The airbags kept them somewhat safe, yet it also knocked them out cold. I hoped. I couldn't even begin to process what might have happened if their heads... Lucas got my attention by punching my arm.
