Bandit's POV:
Location: forest

I crouched down near the river shakily putting my two hands in the water to get a drink, I was trembling. When I looked down in the water I could see my reflection, I was a bandit. Some would call me a pathetic one in the state I'm in, but trust me any other bandit would be, if they were in my shoes. My hair was a messing orange reddish color, I had tried baggy eyes. I hadn't slept for days, weeks? Who knows I lost track, a shakily brought the water up to my mouth and slowly sipped.

I hear them I can sense their presence, call me paranoid or crazy! I'm not crazy, I laughed to myself. I brought my trembling hands to my eyes, stay awake, don't let them get you I thought in my head. The smallest sound would make me jump out off my skin. I slowly looked at the sky, the sun. The sun! It was leaving me ounce again, I would have to travel in the dark ounce more. If I sleep they will find me, I have to keep moving, have to keep moving! I got up shakily I couldn't stop every breath I took, every step, and thought I had, it could be my last at any moment.

The walked stumbling and almost tripping over my self, quietly laughing to myself. I hugged myself rubbing my arms as I walked trough the forest, the sun will be gone soon. I needed to find a place to be, somewhere not out in the open they will find me for sure if I don't. I kept laughing quietly and just wandered almost blindly.

Jess's POV:
Location: Jess's and Gmel's home

I was cleaning up my room when I realized the time,"Gmel should've been home by now..." I muttered to myself. Really being the only one at home anyway. I sighed throwing some pillows into my bed then looked out the window. The sun would set maybe in an hour or two? I wasn't really good with telling time with the sun, kinda telling how long it would take for the sun to set, stuff like that. I was kinda worried Gmel just told me she was going to give the stranger some food, does it really take it this long?! I began to panic a little.

I took a breath, closing my eyes and inhaling and then exhaling. Then again and again to calm down,"Okay...it's fine, she just probably got distracted by something." I spoke to myself. I walked out of my room just still trying to stay clam, I am calm, I am clam, I repeated in my head as I walked down the hallway until I stopped in the main room. I exhaled,"I'm calm, there is nothing to worry about" I looked out a window. The sun was still pretty high up but still it would get really dark soon.

I really wanted to go look for Gmel but I was kinda scared. I walked around and sat on the couch, which in my opinion was really comfy. I pulled my legs up onto the couch and sat criss cross, I grabbed a pillow and hugged it. I was kinda scared I wouldn't find Gmel and that it would get dark by the time I decided to come back. I groaned it was a matter of me wanting to go and not wanting to go! I yawned. No! I will stay awake until Gmel comes back! I thought in my head. I tightened my grip on the pillow and yawned again, I was determined to stay up! I will not sleep until she comes back!

Not even two minutes passed by when I started to drift off. The pillow I hugged was just so soft, it made me sleepier just leaning my head on it. I slowly fell over on my side, hitting the soft couch. I yawned ounce more just feeling so comfortable, before I knew it my eyes began to close. Sleep was taking over, and I couldn't fight it back. I soon just let it happen, let sleepiness take the wheel, and it did.

Gmel's POV:
Location: Village Library

I yawned stretching both my arms high in the air, I was sitting at a table in the library. It was quiet, I had many books piled all over me. Different books were opened, most were closed, other were stacked right on top of one another. I was practically drowning in books! I been trying to find any information on anything really! Something about demons! Portals! Weird ass dreams! Something, but I was getting nothing! None of these god damn history books really gave specific information about anything!

These books just went on and on about how demons possibly did existed or whatever, blah blah blah etc etc! This was useless! I was so sleepy I felt like I would just pass out right here! On all these books, I was getting frustrated. I wanted answers and I wasn't getting them. I groaned putting my arms on the table and dug my head into them. I just wanted to give up, at this point I was almost considering just dealing with all this stupid crap and move on with life instead of trying to stop it! Sadly I knew I wouldn't be able to do that.

I was so sleepy I didn't seem to notice that footsteps were approaching. I kept my head down until I felt a tap on my shoulder, it made me jump up almost out of my chair. I quickly regained my balance to make sure I wouldn't fall back with my chair. I heard a light giggle,"Sorry Gmel I didn't mean to scare you.." It was the librarian Abby. I yawned,"Oh hey Abby..." I gave a tired smile. Abby then returned the smile,"Well I could see you were busy.." She said glancing at all the books, surrounding me. I nodded slowly and blinked tiredly,''Yeah...'' I yawned ounce more. Abby gave a small giggle,''Well I think its about time you head home right?'' She asked kindly. I was processing what she had said considering sleepiness was making me blank out. At long last I responded,''Oh, oh yeah....right.'' I slowly stood up from my chair and was reaching out for all the books I had taken down ready to put them all away. Abby grabbed my wrist,''Nope! I got this Gmel you go home and sleep.'' She pulled my wrist gently away from the books. I again took a moment to process all this,''But-'' She cut me off,''But nothing! Go home and sleep I can clean this up.'' I was about to object but she made it clear I wasn't going to win this argument. I sighed and turned around to walk away and sleepily waved goodbye to Abby who began to put away the books.

Ounce I was at the door I grabbed the handle and pushed it open, I felt the cold soon to be night air hit my face. I shivered, starting to get goosebumps from how cold it was going to get. The sun was just on the horizon almost fully set, with its yellow, red, and orange flames dimming down to the ground leaving room for the dark blue almost black night sky to come. Lucky for me this village had torches that came on at night so my path was pretty much all the way lit, the flames of the torches danced around as the moon slowly began to rise bringing a new kind of light. I passed by all the houses each of there windows seeming to have no light coming through, which made me assume many people where already in bed. I couldn't wait to just get home and sleep, that's what I dreamed of sleep. Laying in my bed cuddling in a ball and just giving in to wonderful sleep. My own house was just up ahead and joy hit me like a truck! I walked up my steps almost tripping over myself as I walked up, but I caught myself. With a sigh of relief I opened the door walked in and closed it.

Bandit's POV:
Location: forest

I was running, running for my life, I heard them, I could see them! I dare not look behind me! Two dark figures chasing me down like I was a meal, one tall while the other was more of an animal size. I could hardly see in this night! It was to dark but that didn't stop me. I almost tripped on a tree's root because I really couldn't see where I was going. It caused me to stumble but I quickly regained my balance, and just continued as if nothing happened right then and now. I didn't stop running, I wouldn't, I couldn't.

If I stopped running, then it will be the last thing I will ever do!
