The Bad Boy and The Ugly Girl

Chapter 8

Urgh sometimes you just feel like a vampire when you get up out of bed and hate the sunlight so much. Well that's exactly how I'm feeling right now! Might aswell make myself some breakfast now. I slipped on my fluffy, pink bunny slippers and trodged down the stairs. I grab my bag of waffles and start to make 2 of them while jumping into the fridge and grabbing all the best fruit and putting it in a small plate at the side. I might as well eat healthy today. I poured a glass of the milk and put it aside the baking waffles. After they were done getting made I put them in a fancy plate and threw all the fruit on top not missing a corner of the waffles.

I finished gobbling it all up and may I say, it was delicious, I went to wash my hair as it's been 3 days since I last did it. I massage all the shampoo into my scalp and let it all wash away from the hot water. After that I dry it with a t-shirt as it is less frizzy that way, if you use a towel It will be more frizzy. I then brush through the hair and leave it in a messy bun and watch some TV. I turn on the TV and the only good thing on is Come Dine With Me, so I sit and watch it anyway. Then I see my mum entering the room with tears in her eyes, where did she just come from and why Is she crying?

I immediately jump up, run to my mum and grab her in my arms. 'Mum, what's wrong? Why are you crying?' She just wipes the stray tears from the edge of her eyes and looks straight at me with her red, puffy eyes. 'You know our neighbours, James and Jenny?' I nod in reply. What's wrong with them? Is James hurt? If he is I will also end up in tears. 'Well James' s Grandma, Jennys mum had a stroke and they need to go to meet her as soon as possible' I guess they must have had a really deep chat. 'I'm sure she will be fine mum' I pull her into a hug that lasts about 5 minutes then she pulls away. 'Oh I forgot to tell you, James says he wanted to meet you before they leave this evening'

I had promised the girls I would stay with them all day today and I was going to set off now. But what's more important, friends that I've been avoiding for a while or my crush who is leaving and wants to meet me? Urgh! I grab my phone and start to text Selena

To :Selena ♡

-Hey, can't make it tonight. I'm so sorry.

From :Selena ♡

-It's fine, we can do this some other day x

Aww she's always been the most understanding from all our friends. I love her so much for that! Okay now, I will get dresses into more formal clothes to meet James, not to impress him but I don't like wearing my scruffy clothes to anyone's house. I quickly change into my black skinny jeans, grey top and black cardigan. I go to the kitchen to inform my mum where I'm going and then make my way to James's house. The door opens to be a old looking man that I've never seen before, he gives a welcoming smile and let's me in.

I want to rush up to James's room but I should go and say hi to his mum quickly. I give her a quick hug, comforted her for a while, whilst that man sat across us watching us talk. 'Honey, why don't you go upstairs and talk to James?' I nodded my head and sensibly made my way up to his room. I was at his door and I could hear loud music. I quietly opened the door to see him packing all his clothes away. How long Is he going for? I need him!!

He must have heard me closing the door from behind because he turned to face my way. He got the remote to the CD player and made the music really quiet now. He made his way up to me, he was standing so close now. 'I wasn't expecting you to come, I thought you hated me' He said looking surprised. Aww, I don't hate him. Never have and never will. 'Noooo, I don't hate you James, your my friend' I said while awkwardly punching him in the arm like some guys. He just laughed. 'So I'm your friend?' He said with a smirk 'Umm yeah, but why did you ask for me to come?' I felt stupid asking him 'I wanted to meet you once before I left, since I will be going for 2 months' He said with sadness in his eyes. 'What! 2 months! That's so long' Oops, I didn't mean to say It out loud. 'I know, will you miss me?' He asked with one of the cutest smiles I've ever seen.  'Haha yeah, I guess. Will you?' Might aswell ask him. 'Of course, who else can I annoy and flirt with when I'm gone?' I shrugged and giggled.

And then the next thing I knew his lips were on mine and my hands were wrapped on the back of his neck, his lips were so soft against mine and he had obviously done this before because he was really good at it. It was a short kiss but it felt amazing. When we pulled away I stood confused 'What was that for?' 'So you will remember me when I'm gone' He was right, that kiss is going to make me think about him alot more. 'Well I guess I will go now, it's time for Supernatural' I heard him laugh and yell 'Nerd' at me as I felt his room and went back to my house to watch TV.

What am I doing to do to amuse myself when he's gone? Wait, he has Facebook. I guess that will do for now. But I will really miss him.
