The Bad Boy and The Ugly Girl

Chapter 9

Well it has been 2 months and today James is coming back! I can't wait, oh and let me fill you in on what has happened since he has gone. Frank asked me out of the first week he left, I felt bad if I didn't say yes and I kind of had a little crush on him anyway so I said yeah and now we are dating. We have been together all the time in school since James wasn't there with Frank and my friends don't mind.

I don't know how James will react to out relationship, he will be angry that his best friend is with me. We will just have to see when we arrive. My brother doesn't like me with Frank, he thinks Frank will be a bad influence on me but he is a nice guy and I know he won't be.

I was getting ready for school and since I've been with Frank he has always encouraged me not to wear any makeup because he says that he loves the way I look naturally so I won't really wear it. I just put my hair up in a messy bun, I get my CM Punk shirt and slide that on aswell. For my pants I go with my denim skinny jeans and some grey vans. They don't exactly match but oh well, who cares?

I get my phone out and call Frank to let him know he can pick me up.

Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring

Then he picks up,

Frank: Hey baby, do you need a ride?

Me: Haha yeah, you know me so well.

Frank: Be there in 10 minutes, have you had breakfast?

Me: No not yet

Frank: I will get you some on the way

Me: Aww thankyou. Bye.

I then hang up with a smile on my face. He can be so cute and caring sometimes. I pace at my door for about 5 minutes before I hear a car pulling up near our house, I look out to see Frank in his Mercedes. That's right, Mercedes! I love his car so much. I skip down my front yard to his car to see his face slipping out the window looking tired.

He opens the door and I get in, I look in front of me to see he got me some Starbucks moca coffee and a bagel with Nutella inside it. I give him a kiss on the cheek and start to gobble it down as he drives us to school, he looks really happy today to meet James, he won't stop smiling and telling me about how he has missed him. I have missed him alot aswell but it would be weird telling my boyfriend that I really missed his best friend. He parks the car at the side and tells me to follow him to the back of the school, he will probably go to meet James. We arrive there and James is standing there smiling at us, looking back and forth between me and Frank.

Then I saw him running towards us, him and Frank will probably do something stupid like a handshake but to my surprise he was coming in my direction with his arms spread, the next thing I knew I was engulfed in his arms and we were hugging. He smelt the same, his natural scent that I loved, his touch was so different than Franks. Just as the moment was going Frank cleared his throat and we pulled apart. Then Franks straight face turned back into a smile as his friend also gave him a quick hug and then we all sat down.

'So Frank, much changed since I've left?' Frank looked at me 'Well, me and Alicia are dating... that's like it' then James's face turned into a confused look 'What? Why?' He sounded curious. 'Well I asked her because she is just so cute and I really like her and she said yes' He said smiling proudly, James looked over to me with an annoyed look and then turned back to Frank with a fake smile 'Wow, I didn't expect that, Congrats guys!' Frank just laughed, oblivious of what James was really thinking. 'Do you think we make a cute couple?' Frank joked. James said 'No' with a serious face but Frank took it as a joke and started laughing even harder.

As soon as the laughter from Frank died down he looked at me and noticed that I wasn't talking much 'Why are you so quiet?' I just shrugged 'I'm just tired from last night. Anyways... I've got to get go class. Bye' I was about the leave when Frank stopped in front of me, 'Don't I get a kiss before you go?' He asked in a baby voice which made me smile. I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and ran off without looking to see James expression because I already know it would not have been nice.

It was now lunch and everyday I would have lunch with Frank but today I denied because James was there and it would have been awkward so I gave an excuse that he should spend time with his friends and I need more time with mine aswell, at first he was upset but then he agreed. The day just dragged on and I kept avoiding James every time I saw him in the corridor or anywhere, he must be annoyed with me for it but I don't know what to do now, I love Frank but not as much as James but I can't break his heart like this now.

Then it was the end of the day and I walked home because Frank was staying after school to play football and it was effort to watch all of them play for ages. I arrived at home and dropped my keys and bag. I fall onto the couch with a loud sigh, today has been a tough day. Then out of nowhere comes a familiar voice 'Hey' there stands James just looking at me with a smile and popcorn on his lap. How did I not notice him?
