The Bad Boy and The Ugly Girl

Chapter 17

Okay so today I am going to tell James about how I've met with Ryan! I can't keep this from him, I just hope he will be understanding. I then see James making his way past me to the dining room, he sat down and starts talking to some guy with black hair from the football team. Shall I go over and call him over? Won't that be rude? He looks like he is in a deep conversation.

I stand outside the dining room waiting for ages and getting weird looks from people walking in and out until someone taps my shoulders and I spin around, tensed and frozen to see James giving me a weird look 'What are you doing there?' Gosh I must have not noticed him leaving 'Uhhh I was going to go inside ..... but I didn't ....' I added a smile to sound less stupid. 'Hahaha okay, can I ask you something?' I really need to talk to him about that thing but I guess it can wait 'Yeah, go on' 'Today Toby asked me if I could sit with the Jocks and Cheerleaders at lunch because ever since we have started going out it has only been me, you and Frank and I guess they kinda miss me ... But if you would rather us stay on that table I'm more than fine with it' He looked at me with hope in his eyes 'Ahh fine' His smile lit up and he was about to walk away 'WAIT!' I speed walked upto him 'What's up? Why did you scream?' 'I uhhh need to tell you something ... important' He nodded, 'Shall we go somewhere more private?' He says as he looks around and there are some people watching. I nod and start to pull him into a dark corner under the staircase. 'Okay ... so you remember Ryan?' I couldn't see in the dark but I could imagine the anger on his face 'How could I ever forget? What he did to you still haunts me today!' His voice didn't sound too happy, 'Well he talked to me recently an--' 'Huh? He had the audacity to come upto again?! What did he say?' He isn't going to be happy 'He kinda said that he wants to be my friend'

James pulled me out of the dark and into the light so I could see his icy cold blue eyes 'Look, I don't want him anywhere near you ever again. I don't trust him and he might hurt you.' Then he pulled me into a hug 'I don't want you to be at danger from anyone' I hugged him and back and muffled into his shoulder 'Okay' He gave me a small smile 'Good, I'm off to class now. Need me to walk you?' I shook my head and waved him goodbye.

It was lunch now, I had enjoyed most of my lessons till now. I look over to see James sat with all the Jacks, he is laughing and having a good time with them, I smile at the sight of it and make my way past them.

'Hey Alicia! Sit with us!' Frank shouts over to me, I still don't like him but I guess it wouldn't kill to sit with them. As I put my lunch out some girls surround me 'Are these seats taken?' They point to the 4 seats around my table 'Nope' They all giggle and sit on the table and I hear one of them whisper 'isn't that James's girlfriend?' 'Why did he pick her?' 'Remember when he used to date you Rachel?' The name Rachel rung a bell as she used to be my friend in primary but now she has turned into a slut that gets close to every guy in school and I don't even want to know what else happens.

Rachel taps my shoulder 'Hey, can I talk to you alone?' She turns to glare at the people on the table until they dissappear 'Look I know we used to be friends and we haven't talked since primary when I ditched you, but if you start getting close to James I will personally kill you' She says is a sweetly high voice with a fake smile plastered onto her face. 'Got it?' She adds before giving me a little hit with her bag and flicking her hair into my face.

So is this happening because James used to go out with her? I'm not surprised because she is the prettiest girl in the school and he is the most popular guy, they must have been the IT couple.

Looks like I have a new problem on my hands, urgh!

'Aliciaaaaa' I see James calling my name from opposite me 'What is it?' Wow that came out alot worse than I intended it to. 'I was wondering if you were free tonight, we haven't been on a date in a while' He whispered to me with a side wink that made me blush 'Maybe' I say before walking upto him and standing next to him. 'Your soo cute' He coos while pulling my cheeks now, I slap them away 'Get off me!' He laughs at my response and we go to our last lesson together where he keeps sending notes about the teacher, Mr Figgle or whatever his name is.

I guess today has been a little stressful, I'll just make some pancakes and be off to bed. I just want a peaceful afternoon when I hear my brother blasting music from his room that's giving me a headache, I march upto him room 'Okay! What's your problem? Why can't you let me live in peace?' I cry at him but he just responds with 'Because I'm the cooler siblings that likes to have fun' and then slams the door in my face. Urgh ill get him back AND show him I'm fun.

I run down to see my pancakes are burnt, 'NOOOO' Oops I didn't mean to scream it, I quickly put them aside and put in some new ones. When they are done I add some butter and finish eating up. By the time I'm back into my room I get onto my phone to check my Whatsapp, Instagram and Twitter, just as I was about to put my phone away I decide to send James a goodnight message

Alicia - Goodnight, sleep tight and I hope the bed bugs bite xxxxx

James - Haha! Not if I bite them first, Night babe xxxxx

I laugh at the image of him biting the bugs.
