I rummaged my closet at hinugot ko na ang pinaka unang damit na nahawakan ko. It was a blue off shoulder romper. Buti na lang at ito ang nakuha ko at least hindi ko na kailangan mag isip pa ng iteternong pambaba. Then I took my heels and applied a slight make up and dashed off to our living room kung saan nag aantay ang boyfriend ko at ang.....

Pamilya namin?

Wait?! Why are they all here?

Akala ko ba magddate lang kami ngayon? Eh bakit nandito silang lahat?

"Babe! Finally you're here!"  I felt my boyfriend's lips on my cheek habang nakatulala pa din ako sa lahat ng mga taong nasa harapan namin

"Uhhm..Jase, babe, I thought we're going on a date? Bakit nandito ang parents at mga kapatid mo?" I softly whisper. Enough para siya lang talaga ang makarinig. Takot kasi ako na baka ma misinterpret ng magulang niya ang pagkagulat ko

"They're here because I wanted them to witness a special event along with your family babe"

"Event? What event?" Takang tanong ko sakanya and my jaw instantly dropped kasabay ng pagluhod niya sa harap ko as he took out a small velvet box out of his pocket and opened it only to reveal what seems to look like a 24k diamond ring

Napatingin muna ako sa pamilya namin na halatang halata ang kasiyahan sa mga mukha nila

My mom and sister is both tearing up, while my dad is looking satisfied. Ganun din ang reaksyon ng mga magulang ni Jason.

Seeing those kind of reactions? How could I say no to this guy?

Bumalik ang tingin ko sa lalaking kasalukuyan pa ding nakaluhod sa harap ko at ngumiti before I dropped the answer that will surely change my life

"Yes.."

He instantly got up and hugged me tight. Kissing me continuously on the side of my head while he's telling countless of 'I love yous'

Lumapit ang pamilya namin sa amin at kinongragulate kami ni Jason

"I'm happy for you baby! Sobra sobra mo din akong napasaya ngayon!" Sabi ng Mommy Clara ko at niyakap din niya ako ng mahigpit

"You're finally marrying the man of your dreams!! I'm happy for you baby sis!" Sabi naman ng nagiisa kong kapatid at ate na si Nadine

My dad kissed me on the forehead as he gently whisper "I'm proud of you hija" and smiled. A genuine one

I couldn't be any happier right now! Seeing my loved ones happy because I chose the right decision

Pero tama nga ba talaga ang desisyon kong to?
