I wake up early, because I have all day with Kaylee and I'm so ready to just see her and I also bought her a present for her birthday tomorrow. I get up and brush my hair, and pick out an outfit. A  white nirvana shirt, and some blue jeans along with my favorite pair of chucks. When I finally look around I realize how I now have my own apartment, and the thrill of my new life starting is really starting to come together. I head to the kitchen and realize I haven't gone shopping yet, but I grab a bagel and heat it up. I add some cream cheese and grab my car keys and Kaylees birthday present on the way out. The sun is out, and it's a for bit windy. Today is the perfect day for our visit. The last few days it's been very rainy, and cloudy. As I lock the door my phone dings and I see a few missed calls from Kaylee's worker, and also Ryan. Ryan can wait, Kaylee's worker on the other hand, cannot.

So, as I put the stuff in the car I call Kaylee's worker back and she tells me how plans have changed and that I can pick Kaylee up and we can hang out at the park, instead of me just going to my Aunt's house. Honestly, I would rather go to the park anyways. It would have been awkward just being at my Aunts house, after everything that has happened I don't need her judge eyes staring at me constantly. Plus, I hadn't seen my Aunt in a while, and last time I remember being at her house she was constantly nagging at me for being on my phone or not talking enough.

I meet Carol, Kaylee's worker, at the park, and I see Kaylee sitting patiently as I park my car. I get out and as soon as I shut my door, her little arms are around my legs. I pick her up and kiss her whole face a million times. She smiles, and gives a little giggle that I've missed so much.
"I miss you" she says. And I laugh.
"But, I'm right here!" I say as I tickle her.
"I mean, when you are away". She let's her face sag, signalling that she's about to cry. What can I do to make that look go away?
"Hey guess what monkey?" I say cheerfully.
She lifts her head. "What?" Those big sad eyes looking into mine.
"I got a new apartment. It's big and wide, and it has a room for you when you come to live with me." I say trying to cheer her up. "And I know your birthday is tomorrow so I bought you something!" At this she looks at me so happily. That's the smile I was looking and hoping for! I hate seeing her sad, she's sad enough with everything that has happened.
I put her down and pull the bag out of the back seat, and shut the door. I grab her hand as we walk over to Carol. I say hello and we watch as Kaylee opens her gift bag. She pulls out a pink teddy bear and hugs it real tight. "Can I name it?" She asks. Her eyes questioning.
Carol and I both say yes near the same time. Kaylee gets so excited and says "I'm going to name her Hope Noodlehead" she says as her eyes beam full of love. I can't wait to have her all moved in, we can have more time like this.
I giggle and tell her that it sounds perfect. She then pulls out a t-shirt that has trolls on it from her favorite movie. She looks at me and smiles. She thanks me for her gifts and gives me a big hug. I watch as she gets up with her teddy bear and goes to the swings.

I push her on the swing, and she tried to push me, I kick a little, so I can help her. Cause Lord knows I'm too heavy! I chase her around and find all of her tickle spots. We color a little in a coloring book she brought, and then she asks Carol for her drink. As she goes and runs around i draw my attention to Carol.
"So you said that I need a house check, and what else?".
"We will need to do a house check and approve your house. You'll of course need to get her a bed and get her clothes from the old house, and have her room ready before the check up. And I'll need to know how that goes before I can decide on anything further". She looks away, keeping her eyes on Kaylee.
"So, if my house gets approved how long after that would it take to get things rolling and get Kaylee with me?" I ask nervously. I hope soon. I hate that she lives with my Aunt and Uncle. She deserves better than to be living there.
"Not too long. Maybe within a week, maybe less. How long until you graduate? Where would she by while you're in school?" She asks the last question like I hadn't already thought it all out.
I don't hesitate. "Well. She would also be in school. She's still in Kindergarten, and if she were to ever get out before me I would know before hand. I will have a schedule made out, and I will keep track of where she is at all times. Even if that means getting a babysitter for an hour". Carol looks at me, and smiles. It's getting really dark, and our time is almost up. Kaylee comes running over before anymore questions can be asked. She sits in my lap and plays with my hair quietly. I kiss her cheek as she looks at me.

"Sissy, I love you". That's the last thing Kaylee said to me before Carol put her in the car. Tears sprang to my eyes. I could tell that she was sad to leave me.
"I love you more Kaylee". I whisper as I meet her eyes through the glass window. I get into my car and wait for them to leave first. As I drive back to my apartment I think of things I could bring from my parents house over to my apartment. For one, I would bring Kaylee's stuff. And all of mine. But, there's one problem with that......my mother.
