You know, I'm not exactly sure. I remember a couple of years ago, I watched Back to the Future for the first time and later on bought all three movies and falling in love with them.
I think it was one day when I just suddenly wanted to watch The Breakfast Club, because it's so iconic, as well as Stand By Me. I did, illegally, until I got caught :( then one day I decided to ask for some 80s movies for Christmas - I got TBC, SBM, and Sixteen Candles
And from then on out I started a small movie collection in my basement, which now has like, 10++ 80s movies !
