I sat in my science class, and patiently watched the clock slowly tick by. I had science three times a week for a two hour class. Afterwards, Finley was picking me up to help him go shopping. Something about how he needed to revamp his closet. Since when did he become such a girl? I asked myself.
Finally, after what felt like years, our teacher dismissed us. I happily ran out of the packed sardines can, and looked around the courtyard for Fin. I felt my phone buzz from by butt pocket. I reached to get it and saw he had texted me.
Finley: Turn around love
I turned around and saw him standing there, smiling softly. I walked over and walked into his open arms and relaxed into his embrace.
"So, I was thinking we could go to Urban Outfitters. They have a wide variety of men's and women's clothes so you can look around too," he said leading me to his car.
"Alright, sounds good to me," I smiled.
We got into his car shortly after, and headed on our way. I reached over to turn the radio on and smiled when the song Lights Down Low came on.
My smile widened when Finley started singing along with the beautiful song.
"Can I stop the flow of time? Can I swim in your divine? 'Cause I don't think I'd ever leave this place. Oh, turn the lights turn the lights down low. Yeah, now I'm feeling you breathing slow."
I looked at him in awe. His voice was so angelic. It was low and rusty, yet beautiful.
"Ever thought of becoming a singer?" I asked.
"Saren, only good people get into the music industry," he glanced over at me chuckling.
I stared back at him in shock. Did he not just hear himself?
"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked, looking amused with me, as always.
"You're voice is beautiful, that's all," he didn't say anything though, he just nodded his head.

"How about this shirt?" he asked, holding up a salmon colored button up with black and white detailing.
"Suits you tan skin," I answered truthfully.
He smiled brightly, "Thanks. I'm going to try this on. Come with and wait so you can see it on?" he asked me eagerly.
"Of course," I giggled at his childishness.
It didn't take long for him to come waltzing out from the dressing room. My eyes never left his body as he slowly approached me. He had the shirt buttoned up till the last four buttons, leaving his chest visible. The sleeves of the shirt clung just right to his large biceps. The shirt looked more than perfect on him.
"Well, what do you think?" he asked, taking me out of my trance.
"Perfect. Absolutely perfect," I answered, my eyes still glued to him.
"Good, I want it to be," he said very quietly, almost as if he didn't want me to hear.
"Remind me again why you wanted to go shopping?" I questioned him, finally pulling my eyes off his body to be met with his beautiful green eyes.
"You know, just wanted some new clothes," he answered, fiddling with the hem of the shirt. I gave him a questioning look knowing that wasn't the truthful reason. "Ok fine. I wanted to get a new nice shirt, because I-," his playful smile left his face and he looked down at his feet. He reached his hand up and ran it through his hair. A nervous habit he always does. "I wanted to take a very special girl on a date?" he finished, it coming out as a question.
