5th Grade. Jr. Junior High. Ugh.
Every year, Ohio (where I live) has a fair called "Alter Fest." But this year was special. Little did I know Keefe would completely change his "list."
My mom loves Keefe. On the last day of the festival she gave us 10$ to go buy tickets to go on the Faris Wheel. On our way there, another woman gave us 5 tickets. With 10$ we could buy.... only 4 tickets 🙄. We spent 6 of the 9 tickets going on the Faris Wheel together. TOGETHER. I still had a crush on him! Yes siree. We got flipped upside down and were stuck at the top. Blood started rushing to my head. "I don't like this!" I said. "I love it!" Keefe said back. I started blushing. Next thing you know.... we faced each other then leaned in. My dream came true. I had my first.... just kidding! I wished that happened I said to myself after we got of the ride. Jeez... does he actually like me??? I decided not to tell anyone about it. But Keefe did. He told the ENTIRE class about our "fun time" or whatever. But after what happened, almost two weeks later, my heart wasn't set on Keefe anymore.
