Depending on the circumstances, silence can be the greatest feeling in the world. Listening to the ambient sound of nothing with a loved one close has a sweet, calming feeling attached to it.

A complete and peaceful silence was rare in the little apartment. Usually, the small space was filled with yells or laughs, but tonight was different.

Tonight, the pair would sit on the couch, awkwardly snuggled under a light sheet, watching some shitty series on Netflix. In the recent weeks, the two males had spent way too much time out of the house, at it seemed better to stay in, relax and save money doing something they didn't do often.

It wasn't a date. At first.

Now they're intertwined, kicking eachother under the blanket, droopy, tired eyes drifting from eachother to the dim-lit laptop screen. The only conversation coming from them was a bit of whining from Matt and some giggling from Ryan, but that was it.

The silence was sweet.
