She dreamed that she was doing the test all over again and she and Cody had both failed. In truth it was not possible for him to fail but for her... that's another matter. She bolts up as she wakes and see the girl and boy. The IV in her hand is gone, thought there is a cast on her wrist.

"Hey! Look who's up again. Girl your crazy, losing your IV then us finding out you broke your wrist." Then the girl smiled to show that she was just joking around. I returned the smile with a feeling of deja vu. I knew this girl but I couldn't remember who she was. She came up to me and gave me a small check-up saying that the part of the broken wrist was true. "Hey. I never asked. What your name?" I asked the girl and boy. The boy replied first. "My name is Casper. I'm 16 and don't ask me about anything personal." I wondered why the boy said that and looked up to see if he was lying or joking. His face was expressionless. "OK, what about you?" I asked the girl. "Um, i'll um, tell you later. Right now, someone's waiting for you outside. Why don't you clean yourself up and go see him." the girl said. "OK, but I don't think I can wash a cast." I said back. She laughed, "It's waterproof."

I walk into the shower and am blown away. Me and my parents and sister live in the Earth sector of the city, and it wasn't very rich. Atleast, my sister used to. She was killed at the bearings for failing her Test. She was opder than me by four years. The whole bathroom blew me away. Earth was the poorest of the four sectors of the city. The sectors are Water, our health and water supplier, Air is our government, Fire is our security and police, and Earth is our food and agriculture sector. The shower had a panel with different settings, and so many buttons they were impossible to count. She took a hot shower and scrubbed the filth from her body. She stepped out and gently brushed her hair and put it up in an intricate hair-do. She put on a burgundy top and jeans and stepped out of the bathroom feeling like a new person. I felt so good I didn't notice the look of pure shock on Caspers face. "What?" I ask, a little wary. "N-n-nothing, it just that, your so, um, well, pretty." I laugh at that and it makes Casper blush furiously. "I'm already taken Casper."   I see that the girl wasn't there.  As I walk outside, I think about it. Casper is acctually  pretty nice looking, with his sand coloured hair and pale skin , with the popping hazel eyes. I open the doir to see Cody sitting quietly on a waiting chair. When he sees me he jumps up and tackles me in a hug. I hug him back, my face in his chest. "Oh god. I thought you were dead!" He sobbed out quietly. I laugh but even my laugh was shakey. He pulled back and just looked at me, as if relizing that he wasn't dreaming. He sat down and i sat next to him. "Words out. Apperently the Testers, um" he looked around before continuing. "Think that you're a Chimaera." I looked at him, with asad expression on my face. "So it's all true." I whisper back. "What's true?" And i told him everything. From me passing out to sitting next to him. Everything. I see someone walking towards us and stop any questions from coming out of Cody's mouth. "Cone with me Allison." Said the young woman. I stood up and walked with her down the hall looks ng back to the face of a worryed Cody. We step into the biggist room ever, with a high celing and best g windiws with velvet drapes covering them. At the back was a big table seating the Testers. They decided if you were worthy or not. I step into the line up of the kids waiting for there result. A few kids were crying. "James Mynmer, you have passed." Said a dark skinned man who seemed to be in charge. The short 17 year old looked relived and walked away. "Linda Herond, you have failed." The tall girl sobbed her way out of the line. A few minutes later, she was right after the person in front of her. "Caleb Fisher, you have failed." The boy looked shocked and then jumped at the dark skinned man.   He was shot in the back several times and died on the spot. All the kids looked horrified and shocked. The body was taken away. I was the last one in the line. I stepped forward. "Allison Aret," the whole room was anticipating. Wondering if the Chimaera would pass or not. "You have passed." I looked shocked. I passed. What the hell? I passed. I was filled with joy. When i got back to the infirmary, i saw the boys, Casper and Cody talking quietly with the girl in the corner. "Allison!" The girl exclaimed. "Did you pass?" Said Cody. "Yes!" I said happily. "Oh god I thought  I was gonna fail." The three walked up to me and the girl spoke first. "No." "What?" I ask her. "What do you mean, no?" Casper answered. "The Testers mix it up. When you do your Test, you are supposedly put up against an unbeatable monster. Only very powerful people can destroy their essence. If you pass, they kill you because you are to powerful. The only way to avoid being killed, is to say you'll help them. If you fail, they put you in the task force, unless you want to pursue something else. So you didn't acctually pass." I could hear my mind thinking. "My sister. She failed her Test. Mabye she's alive!" I look at Cody frantically. "I have to find her!" I was just about to run out the room when the girls words stopped me. "You don't need to. I know were she is." I turn around and see the girl pulling down her surgical mask. I see why she looked so familiar. The long blond hair and grey blue eyes with fair skin. I gasp. "Hey, Alli." The girl says. But shes not some random girl anymore. That girl is my sister. "Mariah" I whisper.
