She struggled, trying hard to breathe, but it was no use. He was so much stronger than her, in her given state. He injected somthing in her arm, and she immedeatly started to feel drowsy. She saw a piece of paper and a pen and lunged forwars to grab them. He didn't know she had them. She frantically wrote the word help on the paper and tossed it on the ground, just before she went unconciouss.
She awoke to darkness. Her father used to be apart of the security team, so he taught her what to do if she ever was in this situation. She looked around. She could barly make out the door in the back, and realized that she missed it twice. Then she looked down. Her wrists and ankles were bound by a thick rope, and she was secured by the waist to a wooden chair. She smiled. Always a mistake to put your captive in a wooden chair. She quickly moved, standing on her tip toes, jumped and slammed the chair to the ground. It broke easily, and she got to work undoing the ropes tying her. She knew that breaking the chair must have made some noise, so she put her ear to the door and was greeted with silence. Then she got to work opening the door. She always did her hair with bobby pins. A tip given by her dad. She got down to work with the lock, and in a matter of seconds, she was done. Then she heard the sound of footsteps. She judged it to be one person, not to big, most likely a man. She grabbed a piece of broken wood from the chair, and stood next to the door as the footsteps grew steadily faster, coming to her door. The footsteps came to a halt just outside of her door, and the man turned the doorknob slowly. As the door opened a voice called out. "Allison? You there?". I let out a sigh of relife. It was Cody. He must've escaped too. She tossed the piece of wood and opened the door.
Cody stood there smiling. "Hey. Hurry, walk and talk" I say to him. As we run down the halks he fills me in. "You know how your dad taught you how to escape from any situation right? My mom did the same, saying it was preparation for anything that might happen on the day of the Test". "Wow", I replied. "Our parents must have gotten well together". He laughed at that, and the tenson in the room slowly realesed itself. Thats the kind of guy he was. Even if the world was ending, he could make you smile. "Yeah, so thats how I got out. I don't know about Maya though. I heard one of the guards talking about an escaped girl. I thought that it was you, but it must have been Maya". I thought. No. It couldn't have been Maya. Her powers were healing powers. That was the only thing she studied about. Except for the test, then she had been working on her fighting powers, but it wasnt enough time to know how to get out of a sutuation like this. Just as I opened my mouth to tell Cody that, the door creaked open. I could hear the sound of someone breathing hard. We both stood up on high alert. Then, as the door fully opened, a little girl tumbled in and fell to the ground. Me and Cody stared at her. Shouldn't 17 years olds be here? What was a little girl doing. The girl got up and ran to me. "Help me. There coming!!" She said in her tiny voice, as she fell back into Cody's arms.
