You let me drown in sorrow
You never bothered with tomorrow
You have no thought to others hearts
Your once smooth words now seem so tart
Your faithless actions were unbearable
You made me feel oh so terrible.
These things you say to me,
Are just words that are cold and empty.
I have learned from the pain,
I forgive you for every hurtful word you said to me.
I am thankful now for what you have let me see.
Without you I would love easy
Locked my heart and threw away the key.
The next one I love will work for me.
