My heart was crushed…
My life was chaos…
I was surrounded by darkness…
I words were hushed…
Then out of my darkness
There stood a man of light
His heart was pure and white
And showed me my emotions were of my likeness
He gave me body , torn and used,
Hope for love and something new
I am taking a chance and letting go
I will do all I can, my love shall show
He is what I dreamed of
And more than my love
He is my prince and knight
The savior from this summer blight
I love him dearly with every breath
For my lover is more addicting than meth
The way he moves is like wind over grass
And his voice is like a sweet spell that has been cast
My soul has been abused
I’m trying to let go of past hate
So we can be in harmony for love’s sake
My heart is no longer bruised
You are my healer
You are my lover
You are the one who takes away my blues
You’re my every dream come true
