"Ugh, how much further is it?" Aria whined to Myung, who she thought was behind her.
They were on a school trip, and their teacher had taken them on a hike. And they were meant to be racing other classes to the top.
Aria had been sure that her friends, and the rest of her class, were right behind her, but when she turned back, they were nowhere in sight.
Where did they go?
She frantically looked around and stared down the path she had just trekked up - she still couldn't see anyone, or anything, other than the swaying trees, and the dancing of the long blades of grass.
"Oh no, am I lost?" Her eyes began to water and she slumped down on a fallen tree trunk.
She was so scatterbrained, and it was known that she had a bad sense of direction, so it was a given that she would get lost.
'I'm so stupid.' She remembered that she was told in the past, that if she ever got lost, then she had to stay in the same spot, and eventually someone will find her.
"I can do that. All I have to do is wait here, and someone will find me!" she said to reassure herself.
Hours later, and the weather was cooling down. Her school uniform consisted of a skirt, that fell just above her knees, and a short-sleeved shirt. She luckily had a cardigan, but it did nothing to keep her warm. Rubbing her arms, she tried containing her shivers.
Her eyes began to droop and she willed herself to stay awake. 'I can't fall asleep. I have to wait for someone to come.' Just as she was blacking out, she heard the snapping of twigs, and her eyes roamed the surroundings of where she sat.
"Who... Who is there?" she called out anxiously.
"Aria?" a concerned male voice asked, and then he turned back and yelled, "I found her! She's over here!" Sounds of rushing feet bounced off the trees, and soon her classmates came into view.
Suddenly, she was engulfed in hugs, as Myung and Hei threw themselves at her. "We're so glad you're ok!" they both cried. "Everyone was so worried."
"I'm sorry." Aria let her tears fall, and nodded in thanks at the guy she knew as Myungjun, from the class next door. He just smiled at her, and she felt the onset of butterflies in her stomach.

"Are you feeling better?" The guy who had found her last night fell into step next to her.
After they had found her, her teacher had scolded her for getting lost and for making them all worry. Then she was sent to bed to rest because she couldn't stop shivering.
In the morning, she felt better and was even happy to join the others, as they went for a walk to go see the cherry blossoms.
When they reached a pathway, beautiful trees grew on either side, with branches decorated with blossoms, in various shades of pink. The sun's rays filtered through the leaves overhead and lit their way. Tall grass danced in the slight breeze, and flowers of all kinds grew alongside the gravelled path.
Myungjun plucked up a dandelion and smiled at the pretty girl next to him, just like he did the night before.
"Here..."
"Make a wish." MJ held out a dandelion to the blushing girl and smiled his sweet smile.
It was just like the past and her feelings for him had grown since then. Aria returned his smile, and hers held a hint of nostalgia.
She blew lightly on the dandelion, and they both watched as the seeds floated up into the air and then fell as they settled themselves on the ground. A hand slipped into hers and intertwined with their fingers together. As they both made their way down the same pathway as back then, they admired the blossoms up above.
